Hey Truepunk, there is a hermie banana on your bud man.

It is situated on the right below the drying returned leaf.
I've just been opening the photo onto new tab to see it full res, there's no doubt.

Just for info and in the case you haven't noticed by yourself.

my ace of spades tend to do nanners at the end of flowering time, off course the one I like the most do nanners too.

Yea she spits a few, they don't show up if you chop at 8 weeks.... I let her go 65 this time and found about 5 on the whole plant. I have a picture on my instagram of one that went full on hermi halfway thru flower, whole branch of male pollen sacs2014-08-12-11-57-42.png

View attachment 3227239 Can someone with vortex knowledge help me? I grew vortex last summer, but never had this pheno. Has anyone grown one like this? She's huge, and lanky, and smells a lot like JTR I grew. Very strong lemon pledge smell.

Nothing at all like the ones I've had in the past. View attachment 3227238
Nice looking plant man. Are you sure that it's vortex? I haven't growd vortex before just wondering if you mixed em up.
What else do you have there? I see plants in the background.

I'm sure I didn't mix em yes.

There is a couple cheese quakes, and a couple blue gods, a killing field, and GLO f2's, and gorilla grape x skunk.
All outdoors though.
Guess nobody's seen this pheno either lmao.
RIGHT ON!

It's a good thing Ace of Spades is fast on flowering, I often harvest between 56 and 65 days.
No time to really hurt other plants in the grow box.

OK! I couldn't resist though I still got my 10 packs of jesus OG and Kaboom!
The seed appeal was too strong, JillyBean and Quantum kush are on their way to visit my home.
2 x 10 packs.

I wish to find a valuable male. I got a lovely pakistan chitral kush which would deserve some crossing.
A true purple indica pheno.

growing is tremendous.

I'll take some pictures of my ladies, both flowers and growing

best to you all

Yeah man I got the Agent orange which is quite the same.
ok she is not a frosty pheno,
ok she pull some nanners at the very end,
but she smells orange and citrus, unbelievable. there's a light alcohol flavor at the smoke to boost the fruity side!
Everytime I think about trashing her, I smell the plant at 50 days and I keep her again and again.

This is my real first only organik session, no pk, no additives.
only some bat guano tea for the last month and some manure for potassium.
I can see there are some failures [maybe it lacks some micro nutriments], but overall I'm very impressed with this first step to the right direction.
The flavor is so much better!
I'll never go back from organics, the beginning of a long joyful journey

Here are a few shots [hopefully RIU upload is limited to 10]
If you want to see the whole plants, not close shots, ask me and i'll upload the wider shots.
For reference_flowering time for each:
  • Agent Orange = 54 days
  • Querkle = 44 days
  • Ace of Spades #7 = 39 days
  • Ace of Spades #4 = 33 days
  • Querkle bis = 21 days
You can see how this querkle pheno is already super frosty only at 21 days of 12/12 lighting.

I got 4 Quekle clones which are waiting to replace the ones in the flower room...
I had cut some hunger tiny branches out of the first querkle at 40 days.

Amazing How I was broken this afternoon after smoking some "not ready" tiny dry buds.
She is not far from being smartly effective. I'll harvest her between 56 and 63 days.
Further that point and I loose precious terpenes and so is lowering the flavor.

One extra thought I would like to share with you:

by using mother feet or clones to clones to keep precious strains, I feel like I'm going nuts sometimes.

Why ? would you tell me

Well the more I work with the girls the more I feel their presence, they are "talking" to me.
Have you ever thought about the soul of your favorite ganja plants?

I mean, it is an annual plant, though via cloning the plant still evolves.

no mysticism here, just intuition and listening through observations.

best

Hey Mason jar,
Did that vortex start out smelling
Like lemon? It's the closest I've seen to the monster I have outside.
Real lanky, and lemony. Just started to show flowers, and is already frosty even on the stem.

Nope, no lemon at all. I like the current one I'm budding, better. Beautiful fruitiness. My first 10 pack of Vortex, my keeper had a strong lemon smell. I tossed her after I grew JTR...now that's lemon! I'm down to 5 females now with my new batch of Vortex. Here's a few pics of that lemon Vortex.vl1.JPG vl2.JPG vl3.JPG
