Texas John, Purple Kush Medicine, Pioneer Dies at 66 in California

Purple Kush - Pioneer Dies at 66 bongsmilieTexas John, a long time medicine grower, and later medicine advocate succumbed to Cancer after a long 4 year battle.
Originally from Houston Texas, John moved to California in the mid 60's,

Doctors originally gave him only 6 months to live, but the oil from his strain of purple kush he originally introduced in the 70's, was high in activiating naturally produced receptors, for cancer fighting. Doctors confirmed they believed 'something' they could not account for, had dramatically 'slowed' the spread of his cancer for many years. With testing practices and the understanding of these not widely researched for obvious reasons, his work producing oil for himself and others for free, in California was appreciated by many, as was the original techniques producing the oil given to him by others.

His medicine was popular when he invented and did the light shows, for the likes of Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, the 13th floor elevators, and others in the mid 60's in the Haight. A service was held on 14th August 2013 in Northern California, he is survived by his children, grandchildren, and 3 siblings. Just a general great thank you to the community that he was so involved and loved for 40 years, across the USA. I will miss you big brother. :peace:
