I live so far out in the boonies we still have dumbass meters. I cant foresee anything, or anybody getting smart out here any time soon.

I'm not in or from Texas but I definitely support your cause! All Voting Legal Citizens need to unite together and vote against any measure that the Federal Gov't or the State Gov't is putting on any state in the union that prevents a state and it's peoples from having the freedom to plant and grow anything in the earth or in any indoor gardening setup. Being able to grow your own food, herbs, medicines, or any other thing that can provide the human body with sustanance or pain relief SHOULD be an INALIANABLE RIGHT for ANY FREE AMERICAN CITIZEN!!!

I got to Texas just as the forfeiture laws started taking peoples life's work for a few plants. so i quit growing for twenty years. the first year or two i was here, i could get premium outdoor grown weed that was grown in Bastrop county and was incredible, even by todays standards. If anyone rememers any info on the strains, taste, growth habits etc. i'd really like to know. I'm creating a sativa strain and was thinking of calling it Bastrop pine, but i want it to at least be in the same taste, effect ballpark. I only had it a few times and i remember it as piney, racey and visual. very up...but at the time i was used to mexi-brick or heavy indica . any help would be very appreciated.

Afterparties and before are times for that. Three afterparties are down the street, tshirts booths and speakers are all there please come out and support us this weekend!

I was living in Austin back in the mid/late 70's and I remember getting that pine tasting sativa weed. Damn, it was good. Closest Mexican weed to that taste used to come from Oaxaca. I am looking for something with that pine taste to grow. I found something called Purple Pinecone, but it is only about 10 days old, so I'll have to wait and see.

Me too! I still have one of the old ones I can flip on weekends.There hasnt been a tab on my meter in the 17 years I owned this place.

I live near Bastrop.I dont remember any pine around here but Porter and New Caney had some awesome pine bud in the 80's.Seems like the only time they have good herb is when i go spend the weekend now.

I dont really care about the meters.. Im going to learn how to grow enough during the summer months to last me (hopefully) all year. Theres something to be said about never having to buy weed, As I buy about an ounce and a half every week <.>

that what i did now i grow enough to last all year easy. i dont sell any. i did it last year for the first time. and this years it way better.

Wouldn't that be some really old shit by then? My shit turns golden at about 6 months sealed in the dark like a wine bottle. The golden color is the trics changing from THC into CBD, CBN, and other lesser chemicals that don't get you as high.

Why are smart meters scaring you? They have had software to track electric usage for years. How do you think they find out people are stealing power. All a smart meter will do is tell them you are using a set amount of power for so long certain hours of the day. Again if you arent blowing out 10-15K in a residential house and you pay your bill on time every month you think they want to narc out the guy whos giving them 3 times the money of someone else ever month. Come on. I still havent seen anyone get busted because of a smart meter that wasn't stealing power!

I have nightmares about the feds running up in my shit when I have plants in the house anyways. Smart meter would just add to it..haha

Cautious is good! But, if this kind of shit causes someone so much worry, they may not be the type of person that needs to be growing.lol Especially in a redneck state like ours. Dont get me wrong, my ass stays puckered most of the time because of one thing or another.

Unless the law already has its eye on you, electricity useage is not the kind of thing that will get you busted. When a grower gets popped, its usually because that ONE person that they trust their freedom to couldnt keep their mouth shut and brought down the heat. Just pay your bill before it is due and the power company wont give you a second glance.

bit of paranoia i have to let out: although I am happy that the NARC officer hasn't contacted me since the last time we spoke, but this shits got me finiky. dunno if this guys gonna leave me alone or are they going to come in one random night and arrest me. ffffffffffffuuuuuuuuuuuucking aye' i hate cops.

kinda wanna break my lease and dissapear since the dude really doesn't know anything about me (don't even remember him asking for my full name...)

have spoken to a lawyer and they said let this play out for a while and see if they charge me with anything

Excellent advice. Wait till after finals like he said and see if he even remembers you over other people he has in his pocket already. If not then you might luck out, I'm sure there's some statute of limitations on that sort of thing.

Did they take a polaroid of you and have you sign something?

I signed nothing. No pictures were taken of me, just of the equipment (which has all been put into hiding in a storage unit).

As long as you dont have any plants in the house right now.. I wouldnt be taking that chance. Move everything outdoors until the heat dies down. :) but man, you should be fine. It sounds like those cops did a really half ass job.
