Believe I've talked Brite ideas into ordering some tga super soil... went in at lunch and asked them if they would get some... they said it was funny because someone was just looking for green avenger soil 20 minutes before... i said that's tga! the green avengers They were like 'yeah 2 customers in 20 minutes... we'll order some' I told'em there were definitely people in the area looking for it and the only other place to get it in tx was houston. Wouldn't be surprised if we see some in austin pretty soon, although they may be backordered right now... but yeah, i'm hoping pretty soon i'm gonna be using it we'll see

You know the recipe for super soil is no secret.. U could make it just like sub does. If u wanted to try it. Ocean forest pretty much works outta the bag too tho ss is overrated

sounds like a good mix but I use happy frog specifically for growing weed and easier to get.3 sqare ft bag also 27.00.

ocean forest doesn't provide a full flower worth of nutes in the soil. i can tell you from experience super soil is not overrated - i get big yields with it compared to everything else. Closest thing to hydro yields. I mix my own now based on sub's published formula but the tga super soil contains other things that are not in that formula. The results I've seen show rooting that's as good as the results I get using superthrive and other rooting promoters... if I get the same results here I can cut those out completely. i use roots for my ss base but you can use ocean forest, happy frog or pretty much any other soil you like if you mix your own. I'm not gonna tell you maybe your mix was the reason you didn't get the expected results, but i've found from my personal experience that subbing in other things and not doing it 'by the book' you do not get as good of results as the original formula. i wish i'd made all SS last time instead of half SS and half my own version i'd be having better results right now if I'd gone SS... all the pure formula SS girls are fucking monstrous budded resin beasts. I ain't fuckin' around no more it's super soil from here on out, either home made or tga bagged.

also fyi if you try and throw in extra nutes on top of the super soil, you are likely to fuck things up, so unless you watered just water in super soil, you didn't really use super soil. fucking with the n-p-k ratios and time of release changes results (i know i did it myself not being patient/trusting in the formula). i water with plain water from the tap, superthrive through week 3 flower and GO biothrive (1-1-1 rooting formula) through veg for rooting, and pH down is ej catalyst, ph up is dyna gro protekt. They also get vermiplex if I can afford it but that shit's expensive plants love it though. I personally pH because I'm a control freak and also my up and down have benefits to the plant, but there's no need to as long as your water isn't too low or high in pH.

I gotta mix dirt once every 2 months it takes less than an hour and breaking a sweat. Perfect way to mix super soil -- in an empty plastic fish pond (durable) with a hoe.

Everything is leached from the soil during growth and has to be supplemented.I mix my own, cost's me about $10 for 2 sq ft.It's the moisture retention properties that make a mix.From there on out it's nutrient's and supplement's.

Like I said ocean forest. Pretty much out of the bag around end of flower u will have to feed. If u use straight of it will fall short

I used supersoil for a few prolly 5 cycles or so and followed the recipe didnt supplement or substitute went by the book
Had every ingredient... Ill tell u there's nothing super about it. Yes it works. But it is overrated I can mix my own soil and play with ratios for diff strains.. guess all I'm saying is my own soil mixes work better for me than supersoil did. I like to rely on more teas than adding a bunch of shit to my soil mix my yucca tea and lake weed nettles comfrey brew are working fine in my mix
And mines cheaper too.. Supersoil is only so popular and raved about On RiU bc there's a bunch of tga fans I guess bc sub frequents
I am glad I still have leftover ingredients from supersoil tho azomite is ay godsend!
My opinion is people try to over think this stuff. Weed is easy to grow a retard could do it.. Fuckin weed nerds lol

I used to buy new soil every grow new nutes and supplies buy expensive ph meters and raptor hoods smart pots tried everything to increase yields. Now I use recycled nursery pots super cheap soil mix and then reuse it over and over. Ill probably never go to a hydro store again. If I ever need another light ill order online. Basically I've spent not a dime on this grow besides electricty I have my own worm bin for castings a compost pile in my veggie garden that works better than any ferts I use cfls and t5 to veg which I already had. And I flower in 3 small tiny seperated areas one is a CFL cab. I'm just rambling about being frugal. Sorry I'm high as a kite and its been raining for I slept a good 12 hrs lol.... Anyways I just hope people realize u don't need to spend money getting weed... Kinda defeats the purpose. U could just go buy a qp if ur gonna spend a buncha money to grow de herb someone's always talkin about hydroshops on this thread... Do u not realize ur wasting money? They r ripping u off. Fuck buying local I got a family and can't give money away. I'm so cheap I use deer poop outta my lawn yucca leaves and weeds for my teas. And I use strictly rainwater. Even my genetics were a gift as testers. It doesn't matter what my gpw is I wasted NO money on my grow and hardly any time. Once I got a system I only check on my plants a few minutes every other day. I used to be COnSUmEd by learning ways to grow now its just something I do a little corner of my shop that I enjoy and keeps me smokin the best weed all the time and maybe sale a zip when rents due. Point is stop wasting money when u don't have to y'all fuckin up the game -snake oils anonymous peace.

My Neighbor adds Peat and Perlite to MG Moisture Control and gets great result's.I wouldn't give him my recipe so he has improvised.Drove my 4 wheeler past there yesterday morning.I bet he is into $1000.00 in mix alone.

I lived in San Angelo a while and did like 5 plants in my backyard with mg moisture control and added perlite.. It actually worked pretty good.....nothin like that ^^^ up there tho. Lol

have pulled near qp on some indoor plants with o.f. x perlite.

Well Fellaz I finally got ahold of My Bro.Big Batch of Shoreline a week from hanging and I made a deal to trade 3 Cutting's for 1 Shoreline.That's all I fuckin need.I made 1 into 1000 before so I ended up with an Aghanica Male that looks just like His Sister and I rooted a cutting from Him.Afghanica is just like a Shoreline Twin, same genetic's basically but they are alot whiter during flower.Shoreline looks like someone threw a handful of rust onto it and has unusually long Hair's.Roadkill Skunk comin up.I'll STFU til I get that cutting.
