Sphere guy: "For comparison's sake the Mega does 309 watts of radiant flux and has a radiant efficacy of 0.46. This is what all companies should be advertising, not PPF/watt."
A year late to the party... but I just couldn't resist... :eyesmoke::eyesmoke::eyesmoke::eyesmoke:

Hmmm.... who here at RIU shares his opinion....

Edited to make clear that it was the sphere guy's quote, not PSUAGRO's

Nicks opinion or mine? Lol......he was the first to boast about 2.1ppf/w on his mega, then the qb#s where confirmed.....then he changed his tune. ;)
Sorry for the bad quote. I was quoting your sphere guy. It seemed like he was saying what I've been saying for years! (that efficiency more intuitively tells you how.... efficient... a lamp is than PPF/power can tell you)

If i misread, I'm sorry. It's hard to take in so much info each time i revisit RIU.

Another Tuesday and my healthcare still sucks

Day 71 of 13/11 from seed under Timber's b-lux décor vero 1750k fixture(296watts) & osram 730nm trigger up my ass====== with my 2 anesthesia ladies.

DSC06947.JPG DSC06948.JPG DSC06949.JPG DSC06950.JPG .........On Sunday I noticed my white clover cover crop (furthest from the fan/right side) weren't looking to great, on closer inspection they had pm. So I cut them ALL back and defoliated the ladies again + a quick lollipop to hopefully salvage something. removed the trimmed/infected matter out of the room and maxed my air circulation and exhaust levels. Pest issues won't be far behind if this continues and then it's game over===probably for the best , nothing but problems from the beginning. Their still stacking way too tight and will yield shit anyways! prove me wrong plants.

DSC06951.JPG DSC06952.JPG DSC06953.JPG .......RH has been hovering in the low 50s, pic is with the door open. I won't spray a fungicide this late regardless, so will see if I scrap it next week. stay tuned, lol

Feck all wrang with them in my opinion.
Do you gee them tea ?
Now it's a bit warmer surely things can only get better with root temps.
That original Sensi Star I have grows similar to your ladies, really tight n bushy.

"...... your ladies, really tight n bushy" should in no way be construed as anything else but in reference to your ladies!

Another Tuesday

Round 3 Day 64 of 13/11 from seed under timber's b-lux vero décor 1750K fixture(296watts) & osram 730nm trigger up my ass==== with my 2 anesthesia ladies.

View attachment 4129850 View attachment 4129851 View attachment 4129852 View attachment 4129853 ........ look ok, chlorosis has progressed a bit but the plant based nutrient break down is slow or so I've been told. Backed up the fixture a touch , don't like how it's stacking so tight.

View attachment 4129855 View attachment 4129856 View attachment 4129857 ............yes I fixed the meter, obvious button sequence for c/f ,not!........took me a couple of minutes smashing combos for the eureka moment. Still love you China regardless of the major inconveniences you designed into this POS product..........rant over

Are the thermometer readings the average temps over the day? What does it display at night? 10° less?
If so, temps are probably two low and especially the root zone gets not warm enough over the day. Do you have a roasting thermometer that you can stick in the ground?
If the soil flora is too cold, they will not produce enough nutrients for that intensity. It's a typical problem in winter..
If you've just turned the light on and that temp reading was at night, forget what I said.

Thanks for all the suggestions, and YES its a environmental issue plus sloppy "sanitizing' before this round.........skipped the bleach and also forgot to lay down a bifenthrin perimeter, whatever..............excuses suck

another Tuesday

Round 3 day 78 of 13/11 from seed under Timber's b-lux décor vero 1750k fixture (296w) and osram 730nm trigger up my ass====== with my 2 anesthesia ladies.

DSC06954.JPG DSC06955.JPG DSC06956.JPG DSC06957.JPG .................well I haven't seen any PM spread from soil level, it seems in check so far?........famous last words. Keep defoliating slightly here and there, just limping to the finish line and trying to get something out of my time/power used. Raised the panel again in a feeble attempt to stretch them, it's not happening == their quite content at staying short and bushy; at least the canopy is even! lol

DSC06958.JPG DSC06959.JPG DSC06960.JPG ....................I have to upgrade my exhaust ,long time coming...of course there are chances of precipitation most of this week . God's still mad at me for doing 35mph in a school zone, I had to take a piss for Christ sakes!

Mind explaining the location of your fire extinguisher? Why not above electrical components? Is it a space thing?

I've heard of growing fire but....
It's just for show at this point;) it's held its FULL charge for 8 yrs now, question it's current functionality........yes, not optimal placement, i put it up for the hans panel run 7yrs ago, never moved it.....

Another Tuesday

Round 3 Day 85 of 13/11 from seed under Timber's blux décor vero 1750k fixture (296watts) & osram 730nm trigger up my ass=====with my two anesthesia ladies.

DSC06961.JPG DSC06962.JPG DSC06963.JPG DSC06964.JPG .....yep, still defoliating . Last 5 out of 7 days it's been raining , if i get bud rot at least i know i gave it a decent proactive try. I ran the root pick through the upper layers of soil to tear some of the lateral fibrous roots to increase vigor . I'm all out of tricks, so that's it till the end..........

DSC06965.JPG DSC06966.JPG DSC06967.JPG .........back to Celsius on the meter again, storms knocked out my power......i fucking hate this thing.

Haven't followed along that closely. Are your night temps dropping real low giving you the pm problems?
I don't know, I'm using someone else's pics like you :hump:............................haha

seriously though , one of the rainiest seasons in awhile, was shitty even for the holiday...........thank god it's still early outdoors, but we have chems/crop protection products for that. No log on my POS meter, a larger exhaust and proper sanitizing should solve the problem..........maybe

Another Tuesday

Round 3 day 92 of 13/11 from seed under timber's blux décor vero 1750k fixture (296watts) & osram 730nm trigger up poodle's ass======with my 2 anesthesia ladies

DSC06968.JPG DSC06969.JPG DSC06970.JPG DSC06971.JPG .........nothing really left to defoliate. Have the cheap moisture sensing probe staying in the pot to keep watering as infrequent as possible. Not much longer to play this cat and mouse game with my RH......

DSC06972.JPG DSC06973.JPG DSC06974.JPG .............................whatever, will loupe next week to see the count. What a shit run , will be easy to forget:)
