TENT GROWERS* how are you draining run off in a trellised flower tent

10 plants in a 3x3 is too many IMO, 15 way too many. I like 4 plants in a 4x4. It sounds like you need a 3x3 flood tray with a drain hole that goes to a catch basin for your runoff.

Another option for individual plants is something like this:

@PadawanWarrior ... This might be the best looking plant I have ever grown. I can't find a flawed leaf on her. (well, maybe 1 or 2), but otherwise, I really enjoyed this experiment so far. 3.5 months of veg, and flipped on April 9th. No, that yellow thing is another fan, but I do have a couple of yellow sticky traps around the pot.

To the OP... I have 20ft trays in my main room. I know you said you didn't want to suck it up, but this may be your best option is a ShopVac Pump Series. It has a dump valve that you can hook a standard garden hose to and never have to take the top off to dump. I only take the top of mine off every grow cycle to clean it. I'll occasionally suck up some bleach to keep things clean.

Why not
Just grow one plant in a 4x8… much easier. I don’t suck up the runoff, it evaporates in between feedings in the drip tray. 3x3?... Def one plant.

If you had easily movable side lighting in there you probably hit 2. Instead of 4x6 canopy you could go 3 dimensional with 2-3 more vertical scrogs on some of the sides, and technically make it over twice the sq ft. Also, still have room to get in and work, which is super nice!

Yeah, I just didn't want to put that much work into it. I got a whole other grow operation going. This was a mother I was gonna toss, but the timing was right when I was cloning my inventory for the main room, and I decided to let her go on vegging. This is a personal, and not commercial plant, so it'll be plenty for me and the Mrs. and friends for a good long while.... until I make another one. Shit, we still got personal from last year we can't smoke enough of. We give alot away.

I’ve been using an aquarium sump pump to drain excess water from the tent, $30 or so. It’s mostly unnecessary in my current situation, but I like having it there as a failsafe.
