Based on fabric thickness, the Gorilla's are 1680D thick compared to the Secret Jardin's 210D thick material, I'd go with the stronger of the two. Also, I think the Gorilla can hold much more weight, 300 vs. 85lbs, so unless the weight itself is an issue (for portability), Gorillas are of a much more durable construction. They also allow for the use of an optional height extension allowing you to make it a huge nine feet tall, if your space allows it. I've also heard some stories regarding the Secret Jardin's zippers not closing properly.

I actually found a site that reviewed the 2 tents against each other after i posted. I'm going to go with the gorilla tent. The metal rods are way more durable and I do like the height extensions. Thanks!

4 x 8 is to small. The 2 tents I have already are cheapy tents like Amazon that I don't trust for long term use. I use them for testing genetics. I'm more a build a room kind of guy since I was residential home builder for 15 years but I'm moving and my main room now is 4 x 10 so want quick easy setup.

For what it's worth, I have two secret jardin's that have served me well for the past decade. One DR90 and one DR 120. When I upgrade down the road I'll likely go with a GGT instead, the added durability is appealing.
