Tending to plants

Hi group, If tending to plants while lights are on doing some trimming / watering etc is it ok to raise light out of the way and reset distance when finished Thanks

Yes absolutely, just remember to reset it

Thanks but never shut the light off correct ? Even with sunglasses and with sensitive eyes the brightness is a killer

I'll turn my main light off if I'm working under it for a good while. My other lights stay on so they're aren't getting complete darkness. I think of it as a cloud rolling by overhead. Can't see how it would harm the plants any.

Yes you can also shut the light off if you want, or at least fully dim it if you have a dimmer, then just remember to turn it up when you're done

I dim my light before working under it and wear safety glasses. Many plants to grow but only one set of eyes.
