Temps during lights off vs. lights on

I just took a harvest from my sog, looking over data i see i maintained a 20 deg difference from lights on vs lights off, during 90% of its time in flower and when i tried to add a space heater all i did was end up raising the overall temps but not decreasing the variance in temp.
My question is what am i losing in end product with this variance if I can not get a better ratio established and have to deal with the current variance?

Where do you live? It must get cold where you are. 20 degrees difference is a lot! Whats your max and your minimum temps. 65 degrees to 85 degrees is supposed to be the window for growing pot! Anything higher or lower and growth almost stops till temps are back in that range. You have to be concerned about humidity too when the light go out it usually goes up and you dont want mold. Good Luck!

um, learn something new each day i guess, i was under the impression that you wanted to stay within a 10deg variance for optimum production and that 65 was a lil too chilly for lights out as well. but according to that link i should be ok, im going to go look at the humdity and work out the avg for that and see what that works out to.

ok i went i crunched the numbers for the humidity over the course of the last batch,
the total avg in min/max was 35.64, the lowest min at 15% max at 74% the lowest recorded swing in min/max=16 highest swing = 54
now the majority of the really high percents where recorded after i had watered so im sure the really high ones record that, and i didnt record data when i wasnt there so... having over 20 entries i'd say only 4 of them were non watering days.
so how do i keep a steady humidity, do i have to use both a de-humidifier and a humidifier to maintain a constant level, and what is the optimum level?
