Temps where I live tends to get low. Money is a issue, so I make due with what I got. Atm I'm i have a good average room temp (75-80), but at the floor where the pots are, temps get as low as 50-60. I have a eletrical oil filled heater, but it doesnt help with the cold floor. What it does is put my humidity down to 29-35%.
Any suggestions to how i can solve this easy and cheap?

Easy no cost answer.

Raise your pots up off the floor a little so they arent standing on the cold floor.

jondamon is very correct in get them off the floor. Even a few inches. Run the heater and use an oscillating fan to mix the air up. I run 20% humidity and it's not a deal breaker. I'm working on ways to raise it.

Thanx for the replies. I'll build something that can get them up. Got a tip from a friend about getting the humidity up. Been trying just to put pots of water inbetween here and there, but couldnt get any good effect from it. He told me to put a ceramic bowl filled with water on the oven. The heat would increase the amount of water that was released into the air from the bowl. I'll get another oscilating fan. sounds like this is a good solution. thx again
