Temperatures?

Okay so I successfully finished my 1st grow a few months ago, and I am wanting to start my 2nd. Since it's now summer time and the temps are hotter I have a few questions.

First off, I'm growing in a mrgrowpro pc case in my garage. The temps at night are like 75-78 or so. I will be doing an auto flower so I can run it 18/6
It will get to like 80-90(90 being hottest) during the early afternoon.
I was thinking I could have it run for 18hours then stop at like 12am(hottest part of day) and leave light off for the 6 hours, they'd cut back on around 6pm, so it wouldn't be that hot it'd start cooling off again. I'd leave the pc fans on at all times to keep cool though.

Would this work or is it to hot to start now:/?

Btw: moving the case or adding fans by it is not an option as of now.

Thanks!

Why just not go 12/12 then? this opens the windows for regular strains as well don't you think?

74 is perfect! just turn on the lights at night like from 8pm to 8am. You can grow any seed from start to finish in 12/12 perfectly.

I see, well would that effect how quickly it finishes? Like would it take longer since there's less hours of light?

no. finishing times is determined in it's genetics, and if you clone her.. cuttings will have the same life spawn as the mother. Pretty cool (no point in cloning them of course)

One warning about the heat.....I have to deal with those temps too, at times, and the main problem I see, is a tendency for it to stress them into going hermie on ya.(some strains are worse than others) In my case, it's never terrible, but still, there always seems to be bananas popping up, when the temps rise for extended periods of time. Yes, the temps slow thing down a bit, but the yield and smoke, are still excellent, as long as you keep an eye on things and don't let 'em get pollinated.
