Temperatures increasing since potting up ??

Hey forum peeps,

I transplanted from a 3gallon pot to a 5 gallon smart pot. Since doing this the temps in my grow room are hitting 28-29degrees celsius. The only factor that has changed is the pot size, it is usually around 24 degrees. The temp in the room outside the grow space has not changed.

Is this normal due to plant being bigger and also does the extra soil volume in the tent cause higher temps? I don't know if this sounds crazy but i can't think of anything else which has caused the increase .

Take it easy on the dabs! LOL!!!

Seriously though...I have no clue what may have caused this...but I would not lose any sleep over a couple of degrees.

2 gallon of dirt won't be holding a couple of degrees, what's the humidity like,? Some filters get clogged at about 70 per cent, Is it a constant reading or a high n low. If it stays under 30 then I'd not worry,

Humidity is at 70%, which according to the main man himself, cervantez, is the ideal range for vegging. But if the carbon cant handle it, then i'l maybe have to drop the humidity for the old girl to about 50. Will the carbon just dry out and work as normal after it has got rid of any excess moisture?
