Temperature/ Humidity in my Veg Room

My veg room is a small closet about 8 square feet or so. It sits around 75F all day, and 20% HUMIDITY.

Do you think humidity that low could be affecting growth? Worth a small humidifier?

yes bring up your hum. at least 75% or more. try putting a bucket of water in the room and control from their. good luck

Ya I was worried 20% was ridiculously low.

Anyone know of some cheap humidifiers online that work for small grow rooms?

remember when in flower you want very low hum. to promote dencer buds

Ya i'll have no prob keeping my flower room that low, I jsut want to get my veg room much higher.

Any thoughts on a good cheap humidifier?

sorry no i don't. i just use a bucket of water myself, it works and don't cost a penny.

man, with my 400w in my closet the temp is up to 90. the plants arent reacting too bad to it because i have a good fan at theyre level and the light backed off as much as possable, with the only other fan i have pointed right at it. thermo still says 90 at plant level, but it is the cheapest thermo i could find. and i dont really have the ability to vent my heat out, i just keep the closet open as much as i can and now my room is damn near 80 constantly, im going to open the door that leads to the adic to get some colder air in here and maybe that will help, i dont know what im going to do in sumer... can anyone help me? i cant get an ac either.... anything would help.

I'm not worried to much about temp right now man.

I did just hang up a very wet towel in my room, and put a bucket of warm water next to the plants. Read about them both in another thread, I'll check back soon to see if they help humidity.

Same here...temps stay rather high about mid 85 to 92 if it is not cold outside...so I have to open the door in my grow room. The humidity levels stay in the 30ish percentile as well. I put a bucket of water in there and i still have not seen a difference.

I had this same problem with my humidity levels early on in veg, i am growing in a tent/hydro, so issue can differ compared to your space. Now at the second week of flower with all of the foliage I am having plenty of humidity and am worried about keeping RH down. I tried everything also wet towel, bucket of water didnt work, bought a cheap humidifier and it helped a little, i wouldnt worry about it to much.

So i put the wet towel in about an hour ago and my room humidity has gone up to about 45-50%! It is also just noticeably much more humid in the room.
