telling the sex of the plant how lng

hi guys iam bout to switch my cfl lighting over to 2700 k 12\12 soon my plant will be 4 weeks old in a weeks time was wondering how lng will it take to show its sex cheers !!

Make sure you have no light leaks first! The sex for my 2700k cfl grow showed in 1 1/2 weeks. (on week 6 now) it usually takes anywhere from 1-3 though i hear.

Some times the sex will show in veg just keep your eyes peeled on the nodes and look for the pistils

anywhere from 1 week to 2 weeks if from seed, not clones. Clones normally come from a mature plant. So, they will show early during Veg and earlier into flower.

i like to wait until after 1 week of seedling stage and at least 6 weeks of veg. from seed. i find that the older the plant is, it will respond to the 12/12 faster than a young plant. of course genetics comes into play, but for the most part i have seen 4 week olds just showing sex after 2 weeks of flower where an older more mature plant showing nice budsites after 2 weeks. and the extra veg. time is nice unless your on a schedule.

usually by 6 weeks of veg. most if not all your plants should be showing signs of preflower.
