I would like to get to know this community a bit better. Some great folks here and some quite intelligent ones as well.

Making good relationships with people is what its all about.

Il start.

I have never been in jail (even though people think I look like I have) in fact I haven't ever had as much as a parking ticket in my life.

I own my own business (gold refining)

I am a federally certified Sleep Expert (yes that is a thing) I was a consultant for Sleep number. Basically I crunched data from they're system and calculated what quality of sleep people were actually getting. My understanding of all sleep related things is extensive.

What about you folks?
Nipple piercings hurt. ;)

They hurt just the same the second time. :o

Belly button piercings hurt less. Although in my experience when they heal the jewelry, 18k gold and personally hand picked Coober Pedy Opals,
tend to grow out and get lost.:eyesmoke:

So much is revealed when you make an appearance.

P.S

My Pillow pillows and the mattress topper both were a disappointment.

I stopped looking at the Sleep Number models when when the salesman said "That will be 10K.":finger:

I'm born Serbian (Capitol of Belgrade) and been here in the SFV (Burbank & NoHo) in SoCal since 3 years of age.

Nikola Tesla was my great grand dads close friend for over 40 years.
One of the things they shared was a love of pigeons and my pops
also flew pigeons since 12 till 86 y.o. My uncle and dad over the years told me some fascinating stories about Nikola
through to his passing others don't know about but are of interest.

I have always (since teen years) have had a close to perfect eye ( a lot of times perfect) for eyeing out 'shrooms, pot & coke in
pretty much any amount to this day although 'shrooms & coke is mostly from yesteryear dammit. Jobs throughout as well, slang since early teens
without a blip knock on wood. Never need/needed a scale. :bigjoint:

An interesting dichotomy here.

What language do you "think" in?
Are you equally fluent in swearing/cussing as well?

I asked an Egyptian to teach me to cuss in Arabic. He declined.
All English. I rarely speak Greek anymore unless talking to older family back home. All the younger cousins are bilingual so we speak English.

Greeks are debaucherous will gladly teach you swear words. I could get away with saying γαμώ (pronounced gamó) as a kid, but there'd be hell to pay if I was caught saying fuck.

That's a lotta bear
I used to brew up 7200 gallons of bear at a time. Actually dropped down to about 6900 by the time the cooking was done and sent it off to fermenting.

For a half year I used to be the Electronic Designer (it was an engineering position but I am not an Engineer) at a rocket plant. Sitting in the weekly meetings with the actual mechanical and chemical engineers, in a way you could say I was a rocket scientist.

Taught some night courses and part of the day program in a (what in the US would be called a community) college. Politics had me leave. I really liked teaching and the students seemed to think my classes were worth attending.

Sounds more glamorous than it was, a lot of banging your head against the wall. Except for the brewing part. That was a fun period of my life.

It's time I told the truth I have very mild super powers like when I visit a friends new house for the first time I always know where the coffee cups are kept or I can get a ball point pen working when everyone else has given up hope

I can hula hoop with the best of them

I can soft boil an egg perfect every time without a timer

Same with the Serbs.
A few times Iv'e spent in Glyfada in south Athens and other parts of Athens starting at 16 y.o.
Love it there and locals were wonderful. Just thought I'd throw that out there now knowing you have Greek heritage.
Most of my family are in Athens... Mainly around Acharnes and Ano Liosia in the northern foothills. I spent a few of summers laying on the beach in Paralia Varkiza not far from Glyfada and partied and danced all night. It's been so long since I was there, I don't think I could keep up with them anymore.
