Fisrt timer interested in experienced ones thoughts or comments, health of plant, room setup... anything really, how old would you say they are? thoughts on wall coverings...

what are we looking at?

we are looking at seedling that appear to have stunted growth, usually caused by over fertilizing or the lack of early root developments? VV

How old are the plants not a bad size actualy depends on what the grower is goin for a tall skinny plant or a short fat plant with mouth watering buds... the reason there not growin real tall also is b/c he has the lights next to them so the plant wont go up looking for the light but to the sides b/c thats where the light is at...

In regard to root development the roots were quite quick to originally come

out of cubes and had a peek a few times once in the balls, appear to be

growing quickly and very fury... I'm after plants fat and mouth watering well

put MrPhilosophy, I have the cfl's on 4mm wire as to move them around the

plants anywhere, trying make them grow out more than up. The plants are

37 days from cracking, 7th set of leaves coming out 100mm tall

Good for you hoochiepapa. For a first grow, hell yes. Have fun. Keep an eye on the tops of your rockwool for white mold. Cover 'em up a with a little more hydroton.

Thanks pop, your suggesting I take the balls up the side of the cubes? or

over the top aswell. I got a pretty bad humidity problem at the moment,

ever since the HID lamp has been on the humidity is only about 15-30% max,

I have 2 towels hung up in there and wet them twice a day, being dry each

time I add water... the moist air just gets suckked out of room straight away

anyone have any thoughts

I thought tall skinny plants were sativa's and short squat indica's?

You mean I can grow short squat Nevilles hazes and tall thin kushs?

If that was true why would ANYONE grow tall skinny plants?

Yes, its true, if the light is closer to the plant, internodes are closer and tighter but I defy anyone to decide to grow short fat plants with mouth watering buds if the genetics are not there!

EVERYONE should have the lights as close as possible to the tops without burning.

I think Mr. P would have been "more" correct had he said some people dont know how to grow correctly and keep the light too far away! Because while some people do grow tall skinny plants with huge internodes, I dont know anyone who TRIED or wanted to!

I got the soda can idea off GrowFAQ I think, can't remember, I thought of the wire part of it, when my babies get bigger I can move the cfl's to any shady spot easily which is cool, thanks
