Teachers sent home Obama song lyrics to parents before the performance

Kids minds are like sponges. If the teacher (who mommy says will teach you important stuff, so the child honestly believes that) teaches it, kids believe it. Especially young kids who have nothing to compare it to. It's indoctrination of the subconscious mind, because a child's conscious mind can't make up their own opinion about something like this. Why? Again, they have nothing to compare it to. Lack of education, as well as lack of experience.

I can almost guarantee you that at least half the kids who were in the class that performed that song have NO memory of the event whatsoever. The remaining half probably have a vague memory of the event, but almost certainly none of them remember ALL the lyrics. Even if they DID remember them, they aren't going to don military uniforms and start marching the streets chanting "Barack Hussein Obama". Do you have kids? Do you have any idea how difficult it actually is to convince them of something and have them remember it for a period of weeks, months, or a year? To think that these kids have been influenced in ANY way by this fleeting memory is laughable at best. Looked to me like a class of either kindergarteners or first graders. I bet they couldn't tell you the name of the president, let alone sing this little song about him.

you remind me of officer barbrady, "nothing to see here folks, lets move along". yep lets pretend kids in school dont remember anything. that will surely convince them? seriously dude, i am 46 and i remember a lot of what i was taught in school. i think thats why they call it school, you go there to learn. for example, i remember in 7th grade when the teacher scared me and my class mates to death about the coming ice age...couldnt sleep for a week. no they are teaching my kids that they are gonna burn the planet down if i dont sell my truck. whats factual is that almost everyone who goes to school, remembers a lot of what they were taught. frustrating that some never do.

Are you just on a mission to make yourself look foolish or what?

I suggest you read about a concept known as "social proof."

I would also read about the Hitler Youth.

And more on propaganda techniques of the Nazis.

streetrider you heathen. that video isnt real, fox made it all up. and make sure you listen to the bozo on the left saying its okay. imagine the outrage the left would have if it were a church....lets say cult.....i dont know, maybe in waco texas or something like that. at least the govt would not infringe on a church's right to free speech by burning it down with flame throwing tanks, killing tractor trailor loads of kids, in a firery inferno, nope something like that would never happen....

Well let's see a few years ago, around here, they wanted no baggey pant's or printed shirts they even went as far as to try and REQUIRE uniforms for Public school students at the parents cost of course, got no where! I remeber I was required to sing the national anthem, that was total brain washing, and the princepals had paddles to beat kids if they did not conform in public schools,,,who cares about a damn song, he's Americas first Black president, A big deal, Just Like if it would have been a woman. I feel more free and comfortable now that my paranoid days of the past, and I'm white, Get over it and come up with some solutions that actually work for the people,,That's why you lost. you will not win again with lies,,My Babble is over smoke it up while you can!

My argument is not whether or not a teacher forced her personal beliefs on her students (which is a FAR cry from the Hitler Youth. FAR, FAR, FAR cry) and whether that was right or wrong.

My argument is that parents who had ample notice that this event was taking place DID NOT pay attention, which means they have no right to complain. Had they paid attention to what was going on at their child's school and voiced concerns about this AHEAD OF THE FACT, that's one thing. They could have always opted NOT to have their child participate, thus avoiding any perceived "controversy". There is no excuse why a parent should NOT KNOW what their child is doing in school, every single day. No excuse at all.

Waco was the match that lit the fuse to the Oklahoma bombing. Please don't get me started on what happened to those poor people. But, let's be honest. It was a buried bus full of children. I have no love for those envolved. Ms. Reno should be forced to enjoys some of the military gas they pumped in there.

But, what does that have to do with this?

You must be one of those southern racist that believes that if you have 1% of black blood in you you are black. Obama is half back. Half white. That's so all of us white americans can feel half safe and only hate half of him right?

And we all want solutions that work. But, goverment solutions rarely work. Americans already give more to charity world wide then any other country. We have had failing social programs for years. Pumping trillions more into making larger and larger government agencies is not the answer.

We should be looking for ways to improve our economy no spend Trillions more that we don't have. And pointing out what Bush spent is the answer. The change I want is smaller government with less taxes and more freedom of choice. And the path we are heading does not give me any of that.

Win with lies? No one wins with lies.

One question from this white American.

If Bush had attended a White Separatist Churh would that have been okay? Honestly look at the church Obama attended for what 20 years.

I love how it is okay for everyone to have hated Bush and been so paranoid. That was okay, you can be a Hollywood star, musician, or even Mr. Moore. But, feel the same way about Obama and you are a racist.

Give it up. If under every rock you turn you expect to find racism you will find it.
