Tax-Financed Health Care: More Bang for the Buck

Medicine wasn't really much for profit until Nixon signed in a bill so that Kaiser Permanente could start the ball rolling for HMOs. 7x do a little research please.

ok, sounds interesting, i'll take a look. in the meantime you need to refresh your memory about the fiscal prominence of physicians throughout the history of mankind. they have always been among the most wealthy people, and it stands to good reason when they're the ones spending their lives devoting their talents and energy to improving other people's lives!! :)

You need to see "Sicko". Physicians around the world are well compensated by countries with Universal health care, in fact most are above the average GP in the US, Adjusted for real wealth.

they don't need to have the government tell them what to bill.

point is that if there is money there is profit. your stand dictates that the money be redistributed among a corps of useless government leeches instead of the people on the ground...

My stand says take out the profit and use it to pay for the whole program, including the 43 million that have none, compensate the dr.s well and make hospitals wards of the state with no profits involved, no HMOs to rob the public, and an end to the blood sucking medical insurance industry that is more interested in profit than their customers health.

Doctors in other countries are just as rich as those in this country, it's not the Doctors who are making obscene profits, it's the Insurance Companies that are making money hand over fist.
