That's awesome that she survived. Looks super healthy now. How do you like the tupur? I've heard of it haven't tried it tho. I've used ffof and coco/perlite.

I've done quite a few coco grows as well as ffof & happy frog & dwc too but this tupur so far is the most user friendly thing I've ever grown in I'll have a more solid opinion after these grows are completed but so far I'm really stoked about the stuff

Might have to give it a try sometime. Do you treat it like coco or soil with ph and nutes?

I use the same nutes , ppm & ph I did in hydro one tent I have a tub & reservoir on a timer to flood once daily & the other is just a smart pot in a pan & I pour about 1-1/2 qt.nutes daily until the runoff in the pan is about an inch deep by the next day it wicks the nutes back up & the drip pan is dry for all practical purposes it's coco but it has other stuff in it too ready to go right out of the bag 2 cu. ft. bag @ $11.00

Tell me more about Tupur. What is your preferred additive(s), or do you use it right out of the bag? I purchased a bag of Tupur a couple months ago that'll I'll be using on my next run when I grow out GDP.

I'm currently growing out a couple plants in Cocotek mixed 3/1 with perlite. The plants are doing well but I can't say I'm a big fan of Cocotek. After having to break down the brick in a big tub with a lot of water I quickly decided no more brick coco for me.

My buddy at the Hydro Store is a big fan of Tupur and he's the one that turned me onto it. I'm curious what other feedback you can provide about it.

I'm using it right out of the bag & don't plan on making any changes I've done quite a few coco grows & had the same issues of breaking it down , mixing in perlite ,etc. I'm using 3 gal. smart pots & gh 3- part nutes with cal- mag I took these clones jul.29 & put them in tupur aug.17 they're almost ready to flip the larger 1 is under 340w. & the smaller is under 200w. leds IMG_2869.JPG

That's awesome. By looking at your photo it looks like it has a hefty amount of perlite already in mixed in. What is your typical dose of calmag, and is that with RO or tap?

my tap water is 35-60 ppm. so I'm running 2 m/l cal mag to a gal of nutes the larger light is e&f flooding once a day & the other is dtw @ 1/2 gal a day

I've been putting it off, but I have to get a brick of coco ready. I wish I had a local place to get good soil/coco. I have just been buying a brick of coco and some perlite online.

Ghost is doing good. I'm planning on keeping it as long as the bud is good. Gsc I'm not sure about. I'll keep a clone until I test the bud.
Not the best at describing smells but I'll give it a go. Ghost smells sour/dank/fuel and gsc is a earthy smell with hints of coffee maybe chocolate. Kinda reminds me of a tootsie roll.

those look like there is dank to be had I've heard some cuts of gsc can be light feeders it's early to tell by the smell as they mature that can change quite a bit that kind of bud production sure makes things interesting lol...

It did make a lot of bud sites. I lst and topped and it bushed out. It kinda surprised me for a gsc s1 the biggest tops stacked so well. It stretched a lot but kept decent node space, looks like might make some decent colas.

I should have enough coco to transplant four plants into the 5 gallon smart pots. I'm thinking of transplanting the gsc clone, taking a few cuts and lst few weeks and it will be ready to go to flower. Also the two ghost cuts I have and the best looking ssd. Probably veg those three another 4 weeks or so.

3/4 transplanted into 5 gallon smart pots. Transplanted the gsc clone and both ghost clones. Might have to just up pot ssd plants into 1 gallon for now. 3 5 gallon took up most of my veg tent.

I'm going to up pot the ssd into 1 gallon pots until this goes into flower. Then the best ssd I'll transplant into 5 gallon smart pot.

Got the ssd transplanted into 1 gallon pots yesterday. Took the transplant well. Things look a little rough in the veg tent, I think my ph got off track a bit. Got it fixed and new growth is looking better. Gsc clone is doing the best. Won't be long till it goes into the flower tent. 20171005_154319.jpg
I'm not sure how I'm going to finish training the gsc yet. Either let it just start growing up or trim all the small stuff in the middle and grow the 7 main branches like a mainlined plant. What do you guys think would be best?
