My city water is 500+ ppm and ph is 7.24
My ro rez is 7ppm 6.56 ph

Building a 4x4 grow room prob use 3x3 for 1st grow.
Should I use ro or tap water and ph down
I use Roots organic for my soil and worm tea my hydro shop gives out free gallon every Friday :hump:
so I'm getting good live organic food for plants.
As for the plant minerals is going to need when the soil breaks down
Let me know what your opinion are..

Tap water, can be tested...in fact some nutrient lines even do testing for you if you use their salts.

And long story short. Tap water is fine, worst case scenario you have to buy a RO machine in your mix is too hot with certain micros... but you won't see toxicity for a long time. You would have to be over watering just to do it... so unless you running a business tap is fine normally.

My experience 20yrs on tap at home, 7 on RO at work. Same shit

Also I should add, that some nutrient lines are specifically formulated for RO if thats your case just add cal mag or another comparable calcium supplements but normally one of your products will have more available calcium then the others.

I’ve gotten away with using tap water everywhere I’ve lived and grown. Never an issue. Perhaps I was just lucky. Never tested the water
