Tap roots are TOO healthy!

image.jpg Hey everyone I decided to go hydroponic and am currently germinating seeds in rock wool. I soaked the seeds in 5.5 ph water and put them in a humidity dome with a heat mat. Right now marks Bout 2 and a half days and I have some huge taproots. In the picture are two that I'm worried about putting under light due to the amount of tap root exposed. Would I be okay just sticking them under a light ? I have a 6 bulb 4 ft long t5 for vegging but it's dual switch so I plan to just run them under two bulbs for now. Any comments are welcomed! Thanks guys
 
image.jpg Ended up putting clay pellets around the seedlings very gently and throwing them under the 2 bulbs. I think ill be okay.
 
What do you suggest?? I don't do hydro and I felt it was a pretty common choice after doing reasearch. Though after this occurrence I continued research and found a thread where a guy argued how the rock wool turns into mush, and how it gets into your water and can enter your pump. This will probably be the only time I ever run it since I don't want to have to deal with that.
 
For the future water from the bottom up on cubes. I used a scale when I ran cubes.

Added about 20g of water to the 5g dry cube.

They look robbed of chlorophyll.

And dont put hydroton on top of them like that, unless you were just trying to hold them up.

Work on getting away from rockwool as well. Root riot is a better alternative.
