Tangerine Dream not germinating

dude....if none of those germed u have to be doin sumthin wrong....it is recommended from several places that you store seeds long term in a freezer...in a plants natural habitat seeds would fall from the plant, make it through winter, and germ themselves when temperature was right in the spring. how are you germing? how are you storing them while they germ? give all the deatails and maybe theres something someone can help with..

Well this what happened i took them out grabbed some shot glasses filled them with water from the sink dropped them in and waited maybe a day they were all sunk to the bottom so took them out put them in tissue wet the tissue put it in the little zip lock bag it came in and then put it in a dvd case wrapped thAt with a handtowl and put it on top of my hps light in my closet left it there couple days checking to see if they cracked nothing so i then got new tissue wet it put the seeds in that put them in sandwich backs and left them in kitchen cabinet for id say two or three days checking on them and the ag and the aks kinda looked like they had cracked a little so i got excited and threw them on in there pots wet the soil and put them under my 90watt led light waited maybe 3 days and still nohing so i txt my boy see how he popped his because this has never happened to me before at all and ive grown from seeds before never had this problem either way he said he put his in soil and under his hps and they sprouted in a couple days sooooo i take all the pots make sure they arnt dry put them under the hps left them there bout couple days and nothing soo i said fuck it bought new seeds then i disnt wan to waste the soil so i said i wonder if i can find my seeds so i dug in all the pots found all of them but the aks soo i read and searched what people was doing and one guy says he justs leaves them in water till they crack so i did that waited two days or so nothing took them out putthem back in there little baggies they came in threw them in the safe locked it and said FUCK IT lol so here i am hawaiian snow hit 7 weeks today flowering and the afghan kush ryder has sprouted and in its 4th day from sprouting!! Currently waiting for my og kush,super lemon haze, freebies fruity chronic juice, and diavlo 2 automatic if any advice what i can do for those seeds or my new ones help please and thank you {^_^}

When you say tissue paper what exactly are you referring to? If your usin kleenex they may not get the oxygen they need. Use paper towels and don't press it flat after you soak it..put em loosely in a ziploc bag...don't leave a lot of excess air but don't smash it flat either..I wrap mine loosely in a black trash bag so light problems can just be factored out..I store mine in any area that is 78-85 drees.. I have never soaked seeds before. I would imagine putting them on top of your hps might have cooked them but I've put mine under my hps before. only look every 24 hours and don't remove the seeds until you actually see the taproot. Only look at them once every 24 hours until the majority show the taproot....that's all I know to tell you....hopefully it's helpful
 
Well, I just got done sticking the old TG.s and some pineapple x grandaddy purple I got from another grower into some jiffies, wish em luck.
 
Are those pellets you talking about the same as rapid rooters? Those spongey things i use for cloning i wonder?

dude...toilet paper is the worst...get em out of there and in a paper towel that's not gonna turn to mush.. I'll bet the TP was keepin em from getting oxygen....yeah exactly...rapid rooters..... that's what I put my germs in after they show taproot
 
I ordered 10 Tangerine Dreams. Only germed 3 and 1 didn't pop. Out of the 18 Barneys seeds I've germed, 15 cracked, which isn't too bad a ratio imo...
 
I'll have new pics up of my Td in a couple days...I just transplanted them..their kind of slow starters.....
 
So put the seeds in the rapid rooters before the taproot or once i get a taproot i just need them to crack and show taproot i know what to do after that i dont have any paper towels and its -9 outside dont think im goin out today lolol what else can i use i usually use cheese cloth but i dont have any
 
uuummm....coffee filters maybe?? i wait till the taproot is 1/8" to 1/4" long before i put em in the rapid rooters...do you have a dome and a nursery? what will you put em in after the rapid rooter?

If i could just get a taproot id put them right in the soil like i usually do i only use the rapid rooters for clones never used them for seeds! What about napkins?? Got some in the car! And put them in a ziplock bag?
 
dunno....maybe...basically my rule is thisck an coarse and doesnt fall apart....if it comes right down to it use a washrag....sterilize it of course and make sure you thoroughly rinse it make it good and wet and press it down..it wont stick together really so they'll get air as long as u don't press too flat...but be careful...I've only dont rag once and it you wait too long then the taproot might grow into the rag...use one that's as thick with fibers as possible
 
what i did was : put my Tang Dream in a shot glass with distilled water until it sank(bout 14 hours)! then i placed it in a Rapid Rooter, but i didnt put it directly in tha hole thats already there - i made my own lil hole to tha side of tha original! placed Rapid Rooter into Hot House and in about 2 1/2 days she sprouted and is currently doing great! she's still workin on her true leaves, but they are comin in!
 
Yeah ive tried everything and currently have them in paper towels in a ziplock bag in the closet but there not doing anything ive been trying to germ these three for almost three weeks i believe nothing is workin so im chucking those three seeds and just order them again in the summer my hawaiian snow is almost 8wks flowering and my afghan kush ryder is almost growing its true leaves do you count true leaves as more then three leaves or when the have the three
