Tangerine dream in the northeast. A little advice?

Back story is a buddy of mine ordered some seeds and was growing indoors. He ended up moving out and having to get rid of five ladys, he gave them to me to stick outside and see what happens. This was in the middle of may and maybe 20 inches tall. Here we are at the end of August and left with a hefty six foot TD with no buds forming yet. Im on the 42nd, is there any way this silly thing is going to be worth keeping around? I've read here and elsewhere that these damn TDs can take the better part of a decade to finish...

The days have begun to get shorter so you should be able to see the flowers soon. It is all about the amount of light they get daily.

Thats not really what I'm getting at. Last year we got 8" of snow on Halloween. I think I'm screwed as far as her having time to finish. Barney's claims 70 days indoor. I have that as a max outdoor. I'd hate to have to use her for hash but there's nothing I can do about it.

Im same area as you and growing barneys LSD. I'm also on the 42. They say should be done mid September outdoors. Doesn't look that is is going to be possible. I'm 2-3 weeks into the "65 days". So I'm thinking early October. Been really warm here this summer, and a lot of sunny days.

When researching strains I almost went with TD like yourself. Seems like we are a couple weeks behind whats normal for the 42.

Well unusually high temps for the fall is what I'm going to need. Other people in the area are into flower but this touchy ass t dream is gonna fight me till the end I think. At least she's hopefully healthy enough to take a little bit of cold at six and a half feet tall now. Maybe even get a little bit purple? I dunno.

One more thing has anybody successfully grown this shit outside. I haven't heard good things about it from the indoor guys.
