Taking so long to sprout????

I am doing a Hydro Grow (DWC). The temp of res is 68 and the temp in Cabinet is 76. The ppm of the water is 140 ( no nuts just tap water sat for 48 hrs open container). then finally the ph is 6.6 . I germinated the seed, paper towel method. After it germinated i put it in rockwool which was soaked in PH 5.5 water for 24 hrs. Now it has been 72 hrs and i have this tiny little sprout that sprouted in 24hrs and now it has not changed at all....... The seed is Afghan Kush X Skunk. I am using a 250w MH bulb the distance is about 16 inches but have mylar everywhere. Should i just keep waiting of just scrap this and just start over with another seed... or am i being impatient here

Wait a little longer then after two more days scrap it it's prob a bad seed

MMkay and thank you i will let it sit for another couple of days to see if it grows some. not to mad since it was a free seed from order

Thank you very much it has been 2 yrs since i last grew so i dont really remember thank you guys. i dont know what i would do without this site. Also i just figured out also what is causing the prob i am such an idiot. My timer is broken. I just decided to test it now. My light has been running 24/7 my poor seed it has had no time to make a root structure because if i recall sleep time the roots grow and structure. Bought a new on and now going to be 18/6. Hope i did not stress the plant to much

I think you need to drop the PH down to 5.8 in hydro. It's 6.5-6.6 in soil

Isn't that an awful lot of light for a 3 day old seedling?

think i should put some cfls to get it going and then give it the MH bulb because i just sold my badboy T5 to get this MH/HPS. I would like to know if i am throwing to much light the distance is about 16-18 inch away

just put it under a cfl for now, wasting money on electricity, and as far as i know its ok to have seedlings on 24/0 schedule for up to 3 weeks but everyone has a different opinion i do 18/6 veg just because its how it is in nature..

would u suggest i do areoflo2master.... Also can i stick with MH or will that stunt the plant growth since it is very intense. checked on my baby now and it looks a little better but pretty much the same. I am guessing it is working on the root structure. because it is not dead and it is still green and showing the tiny little leaves. this is the plant now almost 24 hours since the first picture.... is the plant fine... is it normal to take this amount of time or be this slow. is it from overwatering any ideas. should i put a cfl to stretch it out a little or any ideas would be a great help
