Taking Clones from a Plant Outside to Grow Inside?

I usually grow my mother plants inside. This year I need the space so im putting my mothers out side in a huge 100 gallon pots. I was just wondering what if any are the negative effects?

Im guessing as long as I weight till the 2 month veg time to take cuttings to root.
