take a look at this clone and tell me wtf is going on (yellowing from top down?)

it's purple kush, it was cut last tuesday and placed in rockwool. i've been hardening it off every couple days until it droops and then popping it back in the dome. rockwool is the perfect amount of saturated, just barely wet to the touch.

with a semi firm pull i can't get it out of the rockwool so i assume it's probably begun rooting. i've had clones yellow one of the big fan leaves on the bottom but i've never seen this happen from the top before.

the only thing i can think of is the beginning of a nitrogen deficiency but i'm kind of hesitant to feed this thing while it isn't even showing roots on the outside yet.

ideas?

Call me crazy but I don't think it's a good idea to stress a cutting; it's already in the ultimate fight for it's life. Making it do extra work by "hardening it off" can't be healthy.

it's literally for like 5 minutes a couple times a day to get some fresh air in the dome. once before work and once after.

I've probably killed more clones than anyone else on this forum, LOL. My last batch of clones - my first successful ones - I only took the dome off when I checked for roots. If you take the dome off it's going to immediately change the air. Make sure you mist the plants before you put the dome back on; that way they don't stress any more than necessary.

why are you "hardening" them? Once it gets the roots you need, just put it in your grow medium and let it grow. And don't use a dome over them when cloning either. Let the plant be exposed to fresh air.
