Yes he is. Bodhi has some solid gear but I dont think it's in the same category as fire coming from folks like DVG, Cannarado, Seed Junky etc. I also notice it's mostly US breeders who have these prices of 150+ per pack. Most UK breeders and Canadian breeders all charge 100 and under. Maybe it has something to do with how much weed sells for in the US.
Im still on the fence with quality, hence why Ill buy a pack, but ill bitch about it until I see the merits. Not knocking DVG, just annoyed with the prices is all. And yeah that is true, it seems the American breeders are the ones who started the 150$+ packs; I just wonder how long until that bubble pops and the market settles back down. As for bulks sales, I've always assumed that the states sold weed for cheaper than other counties due to abundance and availability (Supply is high but so is demand).

It works the opposite because demand is so damn high. For example I can get an ounce from a good black market source for about 140-180 for amazing quality stuff. I can also get mids for 80 an ounce. I'm hearing from folks that in some areas of the states that same amazing ounce goes for 400-600$. I think that's where the higher pricing is coming in to play because of the market prices.

Damn, I haven't heard of people getting that much for an O in years. Sadly, I feel legalization caused huge cavitation in quality. I'm seeing stuff at clubs from larger operations that are being sold as top-shelf when in the early med "deli-style" days it would've been given away as the free 1/8th or sold as joint weed. But people are still clearing the shelves quicker than shit through a goose so I guess as long as you put a product out, people will buy it. I hope in the next 10 - 20 years an artisan market will form and the quality will return.

At least here in Canada we have the Black market for that quality, legal options suck after Health Canada microwaves your weed to sell it. The irradiation process is whats holding our legal market back. Guaranteed to suck the terps and moisture right outta your bud.

Wait, they seriously have you irradiate your weed in order to ensure its safe for consumption?

Unless you can provide a product that tests under a certain ppm of contaminates, then yes. Grade a premium flower needs to test under 1000 ppm. I've seen some companies product test at over 900,000 ppm. So if it doesnt meet certain requirements then into the microwave you go. While federal legalization is good because you don't get busted for growing or smoking anymore, the health factors such as standardized testing and meeting health requirements holds back its potential. Just think when USA federally legalizes it and the FDA gets involved it'll become a disaster.

American breeders definitely didnt start the over priced hype gear. That award goes to Sensi seeds.

They were charging $360us for 10 jack herer seeds in 2004. Thseeds the hog for $280.

My buddy thought he was hot shit when he bought these two packs in hopes of finding something better than the blueberry I got from Dutch passion 2002.

Needless to say I found a much tastier, darker and fast flower pheno in a $20 pack of top 44 from nirvana than my buddy found in either the Herer or hog.

Just simply paid for cannabis cup winning hype seeds built up by high times Mag. To be fair herer was legit but my buddy sucked at everything except guitar, lol.

this was my experience with bodhi too. decent stuff, reputable lineage, I can see why it's popular to some, but it just didn't hit the mark or the consistency for me that a little bit more expensive seed does.

DVG has always had my attention with his origins, genetics, and whatnot... But I just can't justify 150$ (or 135 with GLGs sale) when I can snag 2 bodhi packs and pick up a 3rd free one for the same price when theyre not on sale.
stray fox has a strain called happy place(i think). dvg cut of tahoe x ronnie barret. stray is like 2 for 75 or something crazy at GLO and for 75 you get the two packs as well as two freebies. I got a chem 4 x blueberry and a NL5 x ukiah berry as freebies. sound good to me, I'm doing a blueberry run in the future so that chem x BB will definitely be getting popped.

Do not get CC tahoe, its not a OG anymore whatsoever! He must of had somebody make the seeds for him and there a generic dutch sweet strain. Same with the King Louie. I ran both together recently and both were shit! No gas, lemon, og, just plain old generic shit....

CC glue strains on the other hand are great. He must of not hired somebody to make them cause there fire. Found keepers in Gorilla x Punch and Gorilla x Cake. So not all his strains suck now just the OGs id avoid.
Had the same thing happen to me, complete garbage.

Any suggestion on where to get a badass Tahoe or SFV og?
I've been looking at Dungeon Vault's Pine and Perps. It's Tahoe OG x Grandpas Breath (OGKB x (Tahoe OG x GDP).

You might also look at 707seedbank. He has some good looking SFV OG crosses.
Im about to finish up 5 phenos of SFV OG BX3, chemmy funk on all of them one is looking real nice, one is ugly but the nugs are dense and there’s a lot of them, I’ll try to remember to grab some pics tomorrow.

From 707 Seedbank
