sorry for the crappy pic; the calyxes definitely have some purple coloration goin on(day 26)...

so the speculation begins: did swerve, the breeder, get some cross pollination or somethin like that goin on in his rooms, (maybe a blackwater accident?)
or is this a tahoe og pheno?

this came out of a 6 pack of feminized Tahoe OG Kush from Cali Connection via the Attitude Seed Bank
----got 2 MALE plants out of this 6 pack too!!!!!!

so the seed quality rumors, about Cali Connect, that i wanted to test myself, have proven true
---but maybe to my advantage in this particular case:-P

(minor side note: i did get a 100% germination rate, so no quality issues there)

are these the fem seeds or regs? if they are reg you do have to remember there is an affy in its genetics.. if its the fem gear then its luck.. so u dont like purple i take it by the negative post. and my rooms are sealed and individually controlled def not any cross pollination here.....oh and 68-69 temps could have a factor but really what are your water temps at? if your water temp is lower than 68 that could also induce purple

I dont think anything just under 68 is going to induce purple. nonsense.

I think he is saying that he is happy about the purple but not happy about the variation in genetics and that two "feminized" seeds produced male plants.

Phosphorous lockout (non genetic purpling) would effect the leaves before the buds. Purple calyxes and green leaves generally indicate genetic purple.

came out of a FEM 6 pack

i made a positive comment about finding the purple; thats a good/fun surprise Imo

the 2 males in a feminized pack was the only negative comment; but all in all, 4 females out of 6 beans isn't a bad predicament,
-i kept finding posts and hearing stories about hermie tendencies w/ CC genetics before I ventured to test some out myself- just relaying my results

as for their water, it is always room temp in the 70's, i hand feed
air temp may hit 68-69* at night at the lowest
i haven't induced any coloring here

swerve, if this is really you, thanks for hollaring at me man, i appreciate it
got the breeder's confirmation on my purple luck :)

DSC00627.jpgsorry there's so many trich's in the way of the purple, guess that swerve's fault too :)

more pics (and trich's) to come, oh, and throw in some purple calyxes to round it out

the purple hues are extraordinary to actually see, super dark and rich purple...and it's got a grape-watermelon w/ a touch of fuel smell goin on, very very enticing so far...not to mention superb trichome production

and this is all despite what i would deem a mediocre feeding job on my behalf, and a mite attack that resulted in this girl getting the chop at only 57 days; but still noteworthy results i'd say

Og's can do that... Greenhouse seeds was growing a OG Kush plant.. it turned purple/pink and they named it pure kush on there site.

I have seen it happen many times with og's but its very uncommon.

It could be the environment it is in... just performs a bit different.
