I wanted to wait for my meter, but can't, I got my new toys. AT200R2 and AT660R2. My apogee meter will be delivered tomorrow.

It's ridiculous how much brighter and more powerful the at200 is than the at120. And the 660 is a different world of light. My GF won't let me turn them on in the house.
I will test everything as soon as the meter gets here. I will make a video and a bunch of PAR graphs for both lights. I also got a set of 50* lens to play with too.
I'm like a little kid on christmas...I just want to use them.

Not an early chop(54day), but I had to take them down now before things got too bad. They finished just in time and should be really good.

Hey Tags! Garden's looking good bro. Can't wait to see that new AT beast doing it's thing. Nothing like it on the market that I can ever recall seeing.

On the IG side before adding another light I might suggest going from your current 1 gal pots to a 3 gal to prevent any root bounding. Also try pushing a 13/11 at flower. In my own trials I've seen the difference even at day 35 where areas between the flowers will stack up.

Another thing you might want to try is the polyacrylamide treatment that they have been getting from one of their customers in Australia and they use it in their own gardens. The results speak for themselves. It's not on their website nor do I think it will ever be. You have to ask for it. You treat the plants one time early in the cycle. It's 100% organic, biodegradable, inexpensive and truly impressive. Check out the side by sides. I have thought of doing 13/10. But like you already said, it's the 1 gallons that are holding them back. We ran it in 3 gallons under hps and greengenes thought that it was a waist of root space, like most OG strains. But they need at least 2gals for sure. Too late now thought. I still think 2 indagros would be the best for me and my setup/system, but there are also other was to maximize using just 1 no doubt.

You need to get some more info on what ever that stuff is. Sounds interesting.

Meter arrived this morning. I'm in the middle of testing as we speak...just a little smoke break.

This is what happens when I get new lights and a par meter, plus a whole day off work. An extravagant at home test. I got super irie and had a blast. My GF thinks I am crazy.

I took 4 measurements(in umol) from each parameter(1x1,2x2,...) and averaged them for each parameter, along with a center peak reading. I don't know how to make a footprint graph like growers house, but this way still gets the point across.

So the 660 draws air in from one side and exhausts it out the other? LED's at the exhaust end will run noticeably warmer, then, no?

Everything looks sick, though, nice vid. And yea, the new 200 easily looks brighter and warmer in color.

Tell her you could be using the money to 'make it rain' at a strip club. She might even join in. That tent's big enough for a pole in the center

Awesome breakdown of the par readings. I need to get the 200 asap to make my life a lil more complete. I feel a void that I know it can fill. I can see a slight difference in light color between the 120 & 200 but not much. Do you know what the temp of the whites are, did they change from the 6100k they were using? Because I thought apache was happy with their spectrum?? I know I am. And it doesn't look a lot warmer, maybe just overall more power so naturally more red would be visible? I don't know just thinking out loud...would like your opinions. Hope to see some new graphs for the 200 & 660 on apache's website when it gets updated.

Your right, they love their spectrum. They use the same temp white I believe. It is still W3:R2 as far as the ratio goes. I'm with you, that it is just more powerful so now we are actually seeing it...instead of getting dominated by the white. I think back then the white out performed the red by a good amount...now they are closer to equal maybe...Just thinking out loud too. He said he was making it the exact same as far as spectrum to the old, so I think it is as close as possible, and it's just the higher output difference we are seeing.

I do like the color of the 200 a little more for an "overall" panel.

Man, I was skeptical of their hanging design (the single, centered bar on the back) but when you hooked up the fuckin 660- You could just hear the sturdy ringing from the metal.

that and the bounce and stretch of the ropes is what caught my attention.

I dig that 660, and that 200 could be a great panel too.

I noticed the color difference between the 120 and 200 the most when it was wobbling. Looks like a familiar hue to me...

The 660 is a beast, in power and actual physical characteristics. The hangers are quality aluminum like the the AT200 body/housing and for the 660 as you saw there is 4. At first I really didn't like the AT hangers. But I have actually learned to use them. They have some different ways to hang them to make some tilts and angle I didn't think of at first. They are kinda like handles/mounts for magnetic ballast actually.
It seems like a lot of weight, but most grow tents out can hold it fine, just some of the cheaper plastic jointed tents might be sketchy. It's 24"x28" in size, but a 3x3 tent is the smallest I would want to go with it. And that would be close to over kill. I can see the at660 getting more big scale use than most led's of the past so tents aren't exactly the goal for the 660 in my eyes, but it would still work and perform like a champ.


Here is a breeding project I got to see the other day. It is the BBS I grew 2 runs ago crossed with a 15 year old bean stock from a very indica dominate super skunk male. There are a couple unseeded in there but mostly all seeded plants. And he was half way through harvest already. The front row(trellised) is the super skunk seeded to keep the line going, and the back row is the seeded BBS half down so not much to see. Really cool to see some other AT growers. Also interesting to see a breeding room instead of a production crop too.






This guy has been using apaches since the beginning pretty much. He only has one R2, the rest are all red/blue.

Hey Tags! Let the party begin! That new AT is a beast! Love the new tent setup too. This outta be good. Any chance you can side by side some of that root conditioner that DC sent ya? I'd like your opinion.

That tent was just for the testing, but could get use in the future one day. I will be a little stalled off with my next run for a month or so after the pontoon grow is done. I am not going to be doing my thing with greengenes anymore. We are still good friends I just am doing some different things these days. I will be moving homes soon too. Plus a new job starting up. So basically a lot of normal life stuff going down at once. So scaling back for a while will be fine and the best for me.

But yes, that is my first plan to treat a group with the esc conditioner. I have a buddies who's dad started hydrorush, a root enhancing soil/hydro oxygenator, and it doesn't kill micro life. I wonder if they are similar products.

Once I get my new place I will be there more and have total control. It will still be good size but not something that rent depends on. It will be nice to feel free'ed up to just test for the best head stash. Plus I will have more than enough lights to make sure I truly cover my area...so I could end up with just the same or better yields in a smaller and cheaper space.
