Thanks man. It is the best led community by far. Apache is my go to brand, for good reason. They are the best imo.

Bro, I picked up some Jilly clones this weekend. Did you top yours? Can't remember...and how was the stretch on them? Also growing some grape ape along side them which should stay short so I'm looking for info so I can plan on keeping the canopy all level.

NICE. Such good picks. I LST'ed my jilly's down, then top most of them about a week after the bending. They didn't stretch too much. Just normal I would say. If I didn't bend/top them, they might have stretched more. The grape ape is pretty a squat indica, I haven't seen it around in a while. I would imagine that the jilly will still out stretch the ape, so I would try and keep the jill down a little.

Cool thanks man. I'll definitely do some lst 'ing on the jillys. I plan on keeping them all much shorter than the last round. You let your jillys go for about 60 days right?

Ya bend and top those bitches. Last round you had some crazy girls. Clones are better for a controlled canopy garden. Yep, about 60 days for my jilly's. I love to smoke it. They had a pretty lime smell while growing but cured very similar to pineapple thai. Everyone talks about the bag appeal, but mine have some serious punch too.

Tags you DO have alot of Apache's you just DON'T have a Stanford wallet.

I see the 120's in the background and they look to be the same height/spacing as the 660's. I would have thought the 660's would have had greater lamp to canopy and fixture to fixture spacing than the 120's layout. Did Stanford go to wider tables or perhaps they are trialing increased production under the 660's compared to the room with the 120's? Also curious as to what the plants are under the 660's? Looks like they might be some kind of pepper but hard to say.

They are close, but the 660 are a tad higher hung. Not sure what the exact canopy µmol value they shoot for is, but I know it's less 700µmols for most things. They use (3 x however long) tables last a remember which was why the original 120 works so well for them. They are doing much higher densities of crops with the 660's vs the 120/200's. Not really sure what the crop in the pic is, looks like peppers though.

They also might have cleaned/evened things out for the pic too, it's going to be used in the brochure maybe. This pic was from "A" so I wasn't there.

You's guys know of any club in SoCal got jilly clones? I know some that have seeds. That takes forever doing a pheno hunt. cloes are cheaper than seeds.

ru gonna trust someone that does a pheno hunt and then gives you the throw away clones ?

^^^No he wants to not have to deal with getting a lame pheno from a pack of beans. And as much as I love TGA, they are some of the more varying beans out there. Although some of the newer stains are more uniformal.

In CA most people grow clones. And in CA there are many people(greengenes) who do nothing but clone for the masses. They are not "extra" clones. Yes, you have to rely on that cloners judgment and personal taste(why they kept it), but it is probably worth it over wasting veg and selection time. If you are looking for that 1 in a million pheno then never trust someone else do it your self and never give cuts out...but if you need clones of a standard strain so that you can get a uniform run going...clones all day.
Just like anything...you can get fucked though.


This doesn't apply to jilly, but then there is the obvious reason of clone only strains, and getting clones is how you obtain them(GSC, Original OG, Blue Dream, Green Crack,...)


I have conspiracy kush (Obama Kush x SQ)...and obama kush is (bubba x urkle), and some professor chaos, going at PG's. I need to pick pheno's for both. And I should get to check on the nurse jackie mainline I did, next time I see PG.

that makes a lot of sense if you have access to a cloner\propagator with a reliable reputation that takes the time to select good cuts.
Mostly what I see in my area is a bunch of collectives trying to run a plethora of varieties to feed the small home medical grower along with mites and pm. There are some good growers around that have some good stock, but they are mostly growing for themselves so its hit or miss.

The only clones I have picked up recently were some high cbd strains that have only been available to me as clones.

That's why I asked. All the clubs around here are shyte. My neighbor swears the one down the street has the dankest buds and clones. My strains are way better even at 3 weeks premature. (pulled a couple a little buds from my od) .


I just want some jilly sooner than later.

Sorry if this has been asked but do you have any idea what the new large apache panel is going to cost? The ones that are about 25% the size are already a grand. Is it a $4000 panel?

$1800-$2000...Most bang for your buck of any company. Keeping the price down is why they are talking just a little longer.

^^ Now thats great news, I'm gonna track back and see there is more talk and info about the new Apache panel, but I was just pricing new LED's for my next set up, and thats great news.

I took 4 measurements(in umol) from each parameter(1x1,2x2,...) and averaged them for each parameter, along with a center peak reading. I don't know how to make a footprint graph like growers house, but this way still gets the point across.

All that was very tedious and took a long time. But it was fun and let me play with my meter and new lights. I will get them hung up over the jilly's that are still going and do field test measurements soon. I can't wait to test all my lighting systems and others that I can get my hands on.
