So i had my lights at 60%. My plants are still in veg. I need to keep them cooler. The temps don't really go down to 78° until i got to the 30% mark. Did i dontje right thing by turning the lights down? They probably still need that veg light. Or should i go lower? The pic is about my lights. To me it looks like between 20% and 30% is where it will get the most veg light.

I'd strive to keep them below 80 if possible. You're going to have to figure out a cooling solution, ie AC shortly. Running the whole run at 20%-30% isn't going to work.

Ikr. Yes. I do need some sort of ac. Would an a/c be enough to cool my res enough also. My tent is 5x5. Any thoughts on an a/c? I have looked all over the internet. I don't have much room left in my tent. Maybe something that can go outside the tent and uses ducting.

They make little “personal ac”s now for 40-100 bucks.

They’re a little smaller than a shoebox from what I’ve seen.

Never tried them myself but I’m sure they work. Might be a good option if you don’t want to run venting.

I have looked at those. I wonder how long they last. Thanks for responding. And I already have a 4 inch ac infinity fan coming in and a 6 inch fan exhausting out my bedroom window and the a/c in my house is set to 70°.

Maybe i just need a 6 inch intake also
I would try this before buying an AC. The duct kind are expensive and don't cool nearly as well as the window kind. I have one of these which works decently, but once it starts to die I'm going to install a split unit.

I run ducting into the tent from the unit?

Mine is 6" ducting, but I'm sure you could reduce it down to 4". Yeah, one tube goes outside and the other goes into the tent. I have two inline fans as exhausts, plus the AC. That's only cooling 4 600ish watt LEDs and a little supplemental 120w.
I have 1 600w Led light. The heat that comes off that thing is crazy. And yesterday i mounted my driver outside the tent and it only helped by a couple of degrees. Really 1°. I have 2 6 inch clip fans inside. I probably need 2 12 inch oscillating fans. But i can't find any that clip to my tent. Ac infinity has the 22mm tent poles.
