Loli don't take it that far. I just don't want old fucked up looking vegetables or a mooshy sandwichthank you for that..doesn't he understand? i want to see what they're putting on..i need my tomato to look a certain way and must choose personally.

Don't much care for chain fast food. Don't understand why they even exist.
We have better sandwiches in the form of Vietnamese bahn mi sandwiches. Nearby there is a food truck that parks outside a Mexican carnicera. The food truck has a tow-behind smoker and sells melt in your mouth ribs and brisket. They have a smoky mac and cheese that will stop up your heart but is memorable.
The carnicera is a old fashioned meat market with a counter filled with hand cut meats catering to Hispanic tastes, attached to the meat market is a truly wonderful taqueria.
They don't speak English in the restaurant area. I don't speak much Spanish but we manage. Never felt I was treated differently even though I'm usually the only white guy in there, which says something, being this is Oregon. I'll admit to being a little intimidated the first few times in there and couldn't ask questions. They did try to warn me about the tripa (pork stomach) but I knew what I was ordering. That plate of three tacos (chorizo, lengua, tripa) made with fresh tortillas cost $7.
Within a block is a Taco Bell. White people all over that chain restaurant. Prices were about the same as the taqueria. Something for everybody.

Never lol. Best I found for hoagies is a place called Delco's. They pack them so much. It's real good lol..
Also it's always Sunny in Philly trolled us lol. Mindy was out first episode and Dennis is back

i looked up delco's. never heard of that one. it's close to chadds ford? i never got down that way much. i could go for a ice cold birch beer right about now. lol.
even a Wawa sub isn't that bad in a pinch. better than most.

the tripa one sounds great. do they do al pastor too? on a real fire roasted spit is hard to beat. there was a real deal mexican supermercado in colo springs but it shut down. their deli/meat counter was awesome. real home cooked stuff.Don't much care for chain fast food. They do make al pastor, which in their shop is a bright pink color(?). Not sure if it's achiote or food coloring but it doesn't make the best taco. Al pastor served elsewhere that I've had is a spicy hot pork and my go-to, so I was a bit disappointed in that one. Still for two bucks, it wasn't bad.

we lived in Devon for a couple years before we moved to Bucks County. only thing i remember was the Devon Horse show every year was huge.

I've visited the Springs a few times. Compared to Oregon, you guys have great Mexican food. I had to look for this place. It's not common out here.

the authentic places are a bit harder to find but you are probably correct. have to look at the clientele when you walk in to figure it out.
there is a carniceria (sp?) way out east in the springs that i want to try some of their prepared meats but it's a 3 hr roundtrip for me.

El Super Burrito in Eugene has the best tacos around for $2/ea and they're pretty big and have 2 tortillas.
I always get al pastor (hold the cilantro) and carnitas.
