T5 Question

Okay, so previously I had only a flowering room. Well, I went out and bought a few 2foot T5 sun blaze lights...I'm wondering how well they work on mothers/clones/vegging....I have a 4 foot wide by 15inch high shelf that I installed them on, I plan on having a few mothers under them as well as a clone dome...and then I figure when they outgrow the dome I can just put them into some small pots and veg them under the same light? I plan on leaving it on 24/7...any input on how well this would do?

Edit: I realize that the 2 foot lights (atleast where they are now) only cover half the 4 foot wide space I have. I plan on getting a four footer and putting it in place of one of the 2's, and connecting the 2's together to make it 2x four foot lights going across...so basically the entire shelf will be illuminated by 2 T5's...

i used t-5s to vegg my seedlings four about 1 month... i saw massive amounts of growth and i have really healthy plants.. really short internodes and bushy plants. i love t-5's i have been told that t-5's are even better for clones. i have no doubt you could have a vegg room supported entirley by t-5 lighting... and 24/7 is the schedule i had my plants on.. i dont think it would hurt to go to 18/6 though. and you can drop the t-5s within 3 inches of the plants they love that shit. and i have two different bulbs as well. one blue spectrum and one red... smart move buying the t-5s i think your going to be really happy!!
