It depends. How many T5s, what size? How many CFLs? How many plants? What size growing area?

Id say CFL because they are easier to individually move around due to the size.

I flower indoors with T5s and CFLs and veg with CFLs only.

second that. there is a lot of mis information out there about CFL growing, the cost involved with getting those cfl's all around your plants is very very high.

The other option is to do it wrong. T5 is cheaper easier and more affective.

See my matanuska grow journal to see my stupid mistake with CFL what a waste of money could have gotten a t5 with what I have spent now...

want 8 plants but dont know what size and does it matter what t5 i get like homedepot or online
