T5 Lighting Question?

Okay, so I am planning to build a veg box for 1 plant and I have experience with CFL's so I understand what I can do with them but I know nothing of T5 lighting. I am restricted on size so I am only going to talk about 2ft long T5's. Out of convenience it would obviously be easier to hang a T5 fixture, I think my plan would only allow a 2 bulb T5 fixture. But if I went with CFL's I would be able to go as high as 4x 42w CFL's. I run DWC/Bubbleponics and only veg for approx. 1 month with heavy LST, so I have a nice even canopy that's approx 18"x18" at the end of veg.

My question is, how would two 2ft T5 bulbs compare to 4x 42w CFl's?

For example this fixture: http://www.amazon.com/MILLIARD-2-FT-2-Bulb-Grow-Light-Fixture/dp/B00N1YYK6W/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1453581545&sr=8-6&keywords=2ft+t5+fixture

I understand that watt to watt varies by light so I'm basically asking how does 48w of T5 compare to CFL wattage. I'm probably way off and look like an idiot but like I said I know nothing about T5's so that's why I'm asking.. Any feedback or better ideas on what I should use is much appreciated, heat will be uncontrolled so that's why I am looking at these lights. I know with the CFL's I'll be fine of heat.

I use a 2 bulb t5 for cloning and always had good results and would recommend.

I have an 8 bulb 2ft t5 fixture. I believe its 184 watts total. Creates a good amount of heat too.

I would go t5 for top lighting and supplement side lighting with CFLs on two bulb splitters.
