t5 for flowerng???is it true?

i have a t5 light but no more room for any plants in my floweing side cani i use the t5 for flowering?i will post pics asap

I just smoked some buds grown under a T5. They weren't super dense, but they medicated me quite well.

ok here are my ladies i just switched to hydro and i didnt have enough room for these beauties in the flower room so i thought id try t5 for flowering but
never the less i just said fuck it and turned the whole room into a flower section but now i have 12 plants under one 1k hps and im feeling like i need another light but dont wanna spend the money.anyways ill just stick to t5 for veg and hps for flower hope you like the pics

the other ones in the flower room are 32-35 inches and i just put the other ladies into flower at 20- 22 inches

Can you run the 1k next to the t5 and rotate them around.

using the right spectrum bulb during flowering will help tremendously.

Im building a room that will run a 1k light between two t5's. I plan on just rotating them under the 1k every couple of days when I use that room to flower in

so does that mean i need to atleast get a pink t5 6500k bulb?the one with the red phosphurs or whatever?

It should work. For me it has to work. It is a second story room which will get hot once the weather warms up so I have to think about the heat built up in the room.

Mylar helps a lot, if you can rotate those that are neglected every couple of days and presto they're not neglected anymore.

I dont know what bulb you need there is a thread around here about flowering with a t5 that as that info in it I think. For me I am just going to use what came with the light.

Don't know much about T5's but 6500k spec. is for vegging

I flowered under 6500k lights on an 8bulb 4ft T5 and still got 5.5oz (which is low) I just read a forum where someone got 7.5oz off same setup and I saw somene claim 9, so yes it can be done.
