Just like the title says does a t4 bulb run cooler than a t5 bulb given same length bulb. Ima be setting up a mini mother tent in my bloom room just wantd to keep temps down.

The 'T' designation on a fluorescent bulb is in reference to the shape of the bulb so 'tubular' in this case. The '5' or '4' designation is for the diameter of the bulb in 1/8" incriments so either 1/2" or 5/8" diameter. what you need to list are the watts. Generally, the higher the wattage, the higher the temps emmitted

Can't have light without heat....therfore

more light = more heat

size matters not, do or do not, there is no try. (Yoda)
