so i bought some T12s from home depot i got some flowering bulbs. this will work to get the seedlings out of the ground correct? i just need to get to veg state i got a 250watt MH sitting in my closet. just wondering if these t12s will work. thanks

that mh in your closet is what you want for veg...you already had it.

yeah i understand that but i was told i should use a flouro light until they get out of the ground and a little tall. so would a t12 work? i know i want to use the MH for veg. thats what i said i was going to use it for but i want to use the t12 for the seedling state. will it work?

YUP.. Just keep it real close like 2" when they come out of the ground. and try to keep them in the middle of the T12's. Thats where the light is the best on them. On the 2nd node I would switch to the MH and keep it not to close.

yeah you can do that, it doesn't really matter, or you could just simplify and keep the mh like 2.5 ft away at first.

whatever floats your boat.
