t-5s

I'm a long time outdoor grower having to come inside for a number of reasons.
I've always used t-5's to start my plants for a month or so before hardening off outside and then planting.
Always got good bushy results in a month inside keeping them close. 3"-4"
Can I use these to flower? Maybe a SCROG to keep the lights close?
Thanx

T5 are really good as supplemental lighting in flower. It all depends on the wattage but I think you would benefit of buying two cheap LED panels, there's a lot of affordable ones on sale all the time.

You'll get the most performance for the money going for the smaller panels typically at actual 100w draw from the wall. I bought one now for my vegging mom's 100w for 70 bucks with shipping included.

CFL doesn't convert the energy as well to light comparing to LED's or ever HID's and there's a lot of loss of potential when you could better use the power to light up LED's.

Youll def want more oomph then a T-5 for flower but itll suffice to keep them going until you can get something with a little more power for flower
