T-5 lights from ebay

Yeah t-5's are smaller, the only fixtures I have seen are at hydro shops that rip you off, but maybe someone else has seen them at a hardware store. They shouldn't be too expensive, but if you do find it at a hardware store, it will probably be a fitting that has two bulbs, so you would need to get two of them for your 4 your buying. Good luck. :joint:

no you cant you need a t5 fixture. There are bulbs you can probably buy for regular fixtures they just wont be as strong.

100% if you buy t-5 bulbs you need a t-5 fixture. But before you spend all of your hard earned cash make sure this is what you need. What will you be using this for?

i have 1 plant right now and i just found out today that it is a female so now that i know for sure i want to get a t-5 light. but i dont know how many i need and what is the difference between the 6500k bulb and the 3000k bloom one

the 6500 bulbs should be used during vegitation or the first month or two. Then when you switch to a 12/12 light cycle for flowering you need the 3000 bloom bulbs.

less u have 1 plant, maybe 2, ull need 4 of each type of bulb, veg/bloom. not just the 2 each provided......from experience....id go to shop and spend the extra money to assure ur not getting jipped or receive broken glass and have to ship it back and delay ur process at whatev stage u r

if u insist upon going T5, which i have had great results with...albeit fluffy. id go with the 2ft 8 bulb system.....that way u can have 4 of each simultaneously. i like that method best. id recommend multiple units of the 8 bulb system over 1 or 2 of the 4ft. these are much easier to use as side panel lighting as well....

T-5's are not a good choice for one plant. Works great for 12 -20. VV:blsmoke:
