So it's been getting way too hot recently, my box is getting over 80 during the day, so I want to switch my light cycle so that my lights are on at night and off in the day, so my box won't get as hot. Right now I have my box turn on at 10am and turn off at 10pm. What I want to do is after it turns off tonight at 10pm, I want to not turn it on until the next day at 8pm(so I have the lights on from 8pm-8am), so it would be in the dark cycle for 22 hours. Is this okay to do?

i would leave them on all night then turn them off at 8am go for 22 hours of the lights on not off
But they are flowering... And yes going 22 hours of dark would be okay for them. My times are 8:15pm-8:15am just because im not home during the day

As you know, 12/12 is the flowering cycle, you can flower with a 8/16 cycle as well, with 8 hours on 16 off, remember, as long as you have about 6+ hours of light a day your plants will know to continue to flower, reducing your temp.

Would they hermy if I had no light for 22 hours and then from there continued the normal 12/12?
