Switching Soils

If you originally started your plants with soil that is Miracle grow additived and you ran out of space and had to double pot. Would it make a difference if you used organic soil in the new pot below. And would you still have to flush a couple of weeks before harvest. The new roots I'm sure have grown into the organic soil so I was wondering since it's organic would the flush still be necessary.
