If its a plant know by you to hermie, idk if id take the chance :( It might be best to just finish out as you are if possible, then run the light schedule how you want it on future grows. That, or if she hasnt shown sex just take a clone or two and roll the dice ;)

how bad of a hermie is she? a few nanners from bouncing the cycle around bad? or a whole branch of balls under near perfect conditions? either way if you switch i forsee balls in your future, and if not the heat will make your indoor doo doo, if it were me id switch and keep an eye out for like 2 weeks and be ready to clip some male parts just my take on it

To make the switch with as little stress as possible, leave your lights off all day instead of turning them on. Then, turn them back on at your new time (old night period). It will be much less stressfull giving the plants 24 hours of dark then it would be giving them 24 hours of light. Good luck :peace:

yes i concur give them darkness for the extra time u need to switch. i have had my light go off due to a blown fuse for 2 days it didn't slow down or harm the flowering time whatsoever. however my timer got bumped another time and the light stayed on for about 31 hours and that resulted in the flowering being set back about a week - 10 days

My research pointed the other way, I've consistently found it said that night length is more important and potentially confusing than day length.
I leave my lights on for an extra long day to change my schedule like that.

I've changed light cycle many times in past.. Best to keep lights off till new light time then carry on as usual, works well for me..!

I've only done it a few times, but with lights on for a longer period. It seems to work well for me - when you did it this way, did you have problems you attributed to it?
Or did it work well both ways for you?

probably both the same, but keeping lights on (in my opinion) may stall plants a few days as plants (strain dependent) maybe confused with the extra light.. Whereas extra darkness will confirm winters coming ! Both should be fine though.. Happy growing
