**Switching light times**please help**

so im only growing 1 cheese auto, and it is 20 days old under 24/0 115w watts of cfl both spectrums.. flowering should begin any day now. can i change the light schedule to 20/4, seeing how the vegetative growth is almost over. i would like for her to have some rest while shes flowering, and to keep the temps down.will this affect the growth and yeild
they are 2 weeks old here.

depends on who you ask
the only need for dark is to induce flowering
its a autoflower so why does it need dark ?
towards the end of flower you can give it 2-3 days of pure dark for colors and resin
they pack crystals on under 24/0 also
i grow with a lil over 400w true watts of cfl mixed spec and 270 w of led full spec and bloom spec 3w diodes
and i run 24/0 wide open start to finish
they take longer with cfl's you might as well dump the light on them

but ya you can change it affect yields probably but who knows honestly probably end up the same with high temps that it would with low temps and less light

i don't see why you couldn't change the light cycle now.
