Switch to GH nutrients?

I am not really feeling happy about my current nutes, which is TechnaFlora BC products. This may end up as a rant so please bear with me here.

Since flowering my gal in soil, I've fed her bloom nutes 3 times, following the Recipe For Success they advertise. Feed-water-water-feed. I've fed at 1/2 strength doses and still get some (what I assume) minor nute burn. Leaf tips turned yellow. Ph of the run-off using distilled water is about 6.5. Anyway, I did some quick addition for the NPK values of what I am using. BC Boost, BC Bloom and Awesome Blossoms a total NPK of 6-17-18, not counting the supplements. Now what puzzles me is the fact that even at half strength it appears to be too strong. Is my plant THAT fucking sensitive?

Enter GH Flora products. This was recommended to me by a fellow grower/breeder. I don't need Gro at this stage, so Bloom and Micro...for a total NPK of 5-5-5. Assuming my gal needs less N during the flowering stage, why are the N values the same as the PK? Is Kool Bloom needed? And if I factor in Kool Bloom (0-10-10) to the equation, then the total becomes 5-15-15.

I've become a little apprehensive about continuing to use the BC products. And the addition of all their supplements like MagiCal, Sugar Daddy, Thrive Alive, etc. is a pain in the ass!
So I guess my questions are...
1- Will switching to the GH nutes simplify my feeding routine and reduce the burn risk?
2- What is the recommended dosage using GH nutes? And how often?
I looked at GH's feeding schedule on their web site but it only applies to hydroponics.

It's late, I need to spark one and hit the sack.
Thanks in advance.
