Huh??

Well-Known Member
The girls are already about 3 1/2 weeks old(sorry for the late start) besides the hacked up mother and there is one that is from bagseed(was told it's Orange Kush)and shes about a month and a half? The rest are Barneys Farm Sweet Tooth.
I'm running 2 400W HPS lights(one hortilux eye and one agrosun).70% coco 30% perlite in 2 gallon grow bags (besides the mother shes in a 7 gallon pot).I'm using the House and Garden nutrient line and running DTW.
Flowering started the 22nd which is when these pics were taken.
Comments welcome!

Day 5
Quick update
Not much to report as of right now.The Orange Kush is stretching like a mofo, the Sweet Tooth not so bad.
I'm using 7ml of each base nutrient per gallon of water, which is slightly more than the feeding chart calls for.

Here is a pic from last night,I thought I took more but when I woke up I couldn't find them on my camera.I guess I was a little more drunk than I thought.:?:

Day 7 after switching lights to 12/12
I noticed the leaves could be a little more green so I am now adding 8ml of each base nutrient per gallon. Also using 1.1 ml of roots excelurator and 3.8 ml of multi zyme per gallon of water.
A few pics taken tonight.

Thank you sir!
Here are a few pics of that Grape Krush mutant. The first one showing two leaflets conjoined, the second trying my best to show three leaves growing from one internode and the third is of a leave missing it's middle leaflet(also a pretty good view of the three leaves growing from one internode).

Day 11 after switching to 12/12
Upped the base nutrients to 8.5 ml per gallon(schedule calls for 7.5).If I remember correctly what I'm using is about 800 ppm before the additives and epsom salt.
I rotated the plants before taking pics so things will be looking a little different.I can't really get in the closet and take good pics because there's not much room left in there.

looking great H, scribed for sure. check out my grow if you get a chance. i got one 600 air cooled hps for my bloom room, just went to 12/12 today. my first time. happy new year brother.

Day 13 after 12/12
I'm hoping the stretch is about over with.Having one plant that is a different strain and a mother plant in the room, keeping the canopy even is getting to be annoying to say the least.
I will probably flush sometime within the next few days and then go up to 9ml of each base nutrient.

The pics below are from tonight.

You should get that bushmaster for the orange kush. Having plants at different heights can definitely suck.
I do need some,I've heard nothing but good things about it.A bit on the expensive side but I'll probably try it sometime in the near future.I for sure wasn't in the best mood last night after adjusting the lights and building different sized platforms for an hour lol.
How is everything going for you Bigbong?

Pretty good. I still need to buy a camera so I can show you some pics. I'm giving a lot of thought into switching from H&G to The Cutting Edge. I'm thinking it might be best to use The Cutting Edge and then we can compare the Sweet Tooth results... seeing as I just happen to be growing the same strain.

And the same pheno at that.
Is Cutting Edge organic?I thought I read or heard a long time ago that it was but I don't think it is.It's not easy to find info on it and I'm curious about it.There is only like one store in our state that carries it.

Lol if you don't flower soon there won't be any of mine left to compare because when mine is ready I will be :bigjoint::bigjoint::bigjoint:.Lol JK I'll be sure to hook you up before I go crazy with it.

Looking great man..
I'm pulling up a seat... :bongsmilie:

:peace:
I'm glad to hear that Joe!
Any comments, questions or suggestions are welcome!

I'll update tonight after the lights come on.

I thought it was, but now I'm not so sure.I just emailed them and I'll let you know when they get back to me. I know that the Mag Amped is. I could have swore that they used to advertise as organic but they don't say anything about it now. Hmmm...

I also like that it has grow, bloom, micro, calcium, and magnesium. It's cool being able to fine tune the micro, and besides that the only other deficiencies that usually occur are the calcium, magnesium, and at times a little sulfur.

I think that it'd be better if H&G had a separate bottle for micro.

Day 15 after switching to 12/12
I flushed a couple of them just now,I will do the rest tomorrow and thursday probably.I have to work in the A.M. tomorrow and thursday and the lights don't come on untill 9 PM so I don't have enough time to flush them all in one night.
Last night I noticed that quite a few leaves had been bleached. When I flushed tonight I had them away from the HPS and noticed that it's a little worse than I thought so I raised the lights a little more.
Other then that they are really filling in and I'm seeing tiny clusters of buds everywhere.

I'm guessing you'll be sticking with the roots excelurator?

Here are a few pics, the last one showing a leaf that has been bleached.

I got a reply back from the guy at Cutting Edge Solutions, and it goes as follows:

Hi Bigbong1411.
Our 6-part line is not fully organic. The GROW is made up of 35% organic inputs, the BLOOM is about 40%. The MICRO is does not use organic inputs. The additives (PLANT AMP, UNCLE JOHN'S BLEND and MAG-AMPED) are all organic based, PLANT AMP and MAG-AMPED use all OMRI certified inptuts while the UJB has a small amount of Iron Chelate that is organic based, but not OMRI listed.

We do have an organic line that we have developed over the last two years, the registration in CA has just been finalized, but we have not gone into full scale production yet. One thing that I will say is that our fertilizers, whether it be the 6-part or the new Organic program, are developed using the highest quality ingredients. We never rely on weird chemicals, plant growth regulators or artificial hormones to get results. We developed these products initially for ourselves and as such, pass on the same quality we would expect onto our fellow growers.

I hope this clarifies things. Let me know if you have further questions. Thank you for your interest!
Peace,

Uh Oh,do I see some free sample bottles in the future for a "fellow grower"?
I wonder if it's possible to get ahold of the organic line outside of cali.
Have you checked out the Bloom nutrients yet?I think it's yellowbottle.com,I'll check right now.

It's yellowbottles.com,and on second thought that feeding schedule is INTENSE!!!No thanks
Talk about fine tuning lol

It's funny that you mention free samples. I replied to the guy's email and said that I would test their new organic line for them. I've yet to hear back from him, lol...
