ok, I am going to hang on until you are clear in the taste depo. I am happy with beelasso but always open to try something new if you think it's worth it. Will check back in to see your final synopsis.

well based on all the tests I've done so far I've determined this.....

humboldt wick is SLIGHTLY harsher, only slightly... and adds a very particular flavor to the smoke that you're either going to love or hate... for me it was the latter...

beelasso has the smoother smoke and the smoother taste by far so far. I will continue testing but I doubt this will change in a few days..

so, thankfully so far it seems I'm going to stilll be able to stand by bee-lasso :)

I am happy with my beelasso and have another boulder. I just want to note that I got my boulders no problem, shipped to Europe from the US and all good. Quick as well.

right on man, I'm still workin on my last boulder. I really thought humboldt traders was gonna be better but I guess it's a preference thing, I don't want my wick to flavor my weed. others might.. neva know. my other buddy said he tasted a honey aftertaste... I don't... wish I did.. probably would love this stuff if that was the case... so that's why I say it's a preference thing..

i def don't want anything adding to the flavour of my weed. the only complaint I have about wick is when you put it out there is obviously a smell from that, but other than that little anal complaint, I think it's great. Plus I have far less burns on my fingers and thumbs from using lighters that I have to hold right next to my delicate skin, lol.

hella.. I can honestly say I haven't touched a lighter flame to my weed in over 6 months now. possibly longer.

Give beelasso a try Sunny, I think you will like it. I have seen a few wicks now from people I have met and they all look rather disgusting to be honest. the beelasso just looks like a good quality wick when you see it.
sweet, i just got my free sample from ital. that will last me an hour or so :peace:

I prefer the humboldt wick. I dont think it adds anything, just makes the least smoke and burns the cleanest. they also have the best price I've found anywhere. I think I posted on here about beelasso being reported for mail fraud or something. thought it was this thread. not sure. if you google bee lasso it comes right up on the first page.

yeah I know the dude who reported that... I've never had any issues myself so I'm not gonna tell anyone not to buy them based on ONE single bad review.

and that's cool man everyone can have their opinion... like I said some people may like the flavor of the humboldt wick...

from my interpretation, it DEFINITELY adds a perceptable flavor that I don't prefer when directly compared to bee-lasso... I still have a BUNCH of both wicks left so it's not like I can say for certain I'm done testing, but I am for certain that I like beelasso far more because of the lack of extra flavor, and much smoother.

Hello again..
So I couldn't wait for my beelasso and got the local wax and stuff...
The wicks I make burn 2X longer than beelasso?!?

I have so far tried one type of natural hemp without chemicals. I have orders for other types of hemp coming in today or next week...

So I prefer the home made ones to the beelasso so far.. and that is with a twine that I believe may not be the optimal twine..

More to come.....

Looks like I may be in the hemp wick business soon...

samples available upon request.. I will need unbiased testers.

start your own thread hashmomma if you're THAT against beelasso. based on a single individual bad review.

I will state again then since points are getting laboured, I was happy with beelasso, quick postal to europe as well. People tend to shout more about a complaint than about getting what they deserve. Mistakes happen, post goes missing, people get antsy, he said some things, she said some things, you know how it works. So I agree, beelasso don't get the slam dunk because of 1 review. Every story has at least 2 sides hashmomma.

I really like how you manage to stay very diplomatic in this situation. +rep

so what I've basically concluded is that I like them both.

sometimes I like the beelasso more, others I like the humboldt wick more. so I'd say they are both equivalent to eachother in quality, and both equally worth buying.

I also use beelasso for lighting herb. Burns very well, not too fast, and you definitely get a better taste than when using a lighter. Beelasso is definitely the best hemp wick out there right now for a good price.
