Characteristics: Sweet pine flavour

since i haven't really seen this strain posted i might as well post mine.

grown in absolutely horrid/shitty conditions.
outdoor: 12/12 since seed (we only have two seasons)
temps: 32-35 Celsius average (during sun, around 20 at night)
humidity: 50-60 (tropical climate)
soil: garden crap soil with bugs and shit
nutes: organic first (lacked N), then local hydro nutes, then added liquid koolbloom the last few weeks.

here she is a few weeks prior to harvest, take note a shit load of bugs having a party, i never sprayed any kind of bug spray whatsoever.

This is another plant that my friend's dog destroyed it until it was a stick then it suddenly grew a single wee cola at top, pretty cool. shows the resilience of weed imo, we kept it for shits and giggles.

the moment before she got cut, she fox-tailed towards the end, that was kinda annoying.

Here is the harvest, latter pic is after i washed the buds cause of the crapload of bugs and shit. don't want smoking any of those. smells like candy. i initially wanted to wait a big longer till most of the pistils turned red but checked the trichomes and a lot were amber so that was a pretty noob mistake so we decided to harvested earlier.

as for the smoke, im hang drying it now, humidity is around 60+++, temps around 28-30 so it might dry quick. can't estimate yield cause i don't have a scale.

if there's literally a beginner/Jesus type strain where it will forgive you for all the shit you give it. i think this might be a really good one. lol

It looks nice but how long did you grow it from seed before you cut it? look's like you chopped it early maybe

i think the seed was started at around mid november (it was a few inches tall by then). took a really long time for it to get started though. and it flowered around mid-Feb.

i'm very confused currently on harvest timing. people say to base it on trichomes (which i did). i initially wanted it to get seriously fat and wait till pistils started turning but decided to go with trichomes because i wanted a sativa high. but when i checked alot of trichomes were already amber so i decided to harvest. very confusing for me.

i think the temps really affect trichome maturity and all since a lot of you guys say it still could have more time but trichomes were more on the amber side already.

You were supposed to start the countdown of the flowering weeks from first sign of flower. The pistils are still white and the buds haven't had a chance to fill in. If the trichs are amber then smoke it up man.

yeah, but i've been reading conflicting information as to regards to following breeders suggested flowering time, harvesting based on pistil colors, and trichome maturity. majority agree that you should base it on trichome maturity and thats where i based my decision on and since there aren't that many swazi skunk journals out there, i had to choose.
