I'm going on a hunt for Swampy strains. So far i have a packs of:
•San Fernando Lights (SFV x Ortega/NL) i grew a few freebies yrs ago and found swampy in the og structured phenos. Cattail cola phenos sucked tho.
I'm pretty happy i scored an unopened pack to hunt.
•Jungle Sap (OldGooey x PanamaRed) by NorStar.
And these say right on the package "Swampy".
So if norcal swampy is similar to socal swampy I'll be stoked.
I grew up in Berdoo back before it dried up. The "swampy" I'm talking about was at the foothills around little creekbeds. It was definitely from a riparian plant that only grows around slow fresh water.
We just called it swampy. And we called weed that smelled like it Swampy bud. Bikers grew guerrilla in the area and we wrongly assumed thats why they smelled the same.
So its not like a mucky swamp in the south.
I have smelled it once since i moved to Oregon near a waterfall.
Does anyone know what I mean?
Not mossy btw
