Supernatural Nutrients first time Hydro/Aero, any advice on feeding schedule?

Hey all, been a creeper here for a little while, need some advice with my upcoming first diy aero/hydro grow.

So im going to be starting a grow journal when i put everything together soon, but i would like some advice for when im going to start needing nutrients.

Im going to be using a 28 gallon rubbermaid tub as a sort of dwc reservoire (the roots will eventually hang into it) with four bubblers going in it and a pump going to a 9 head manifold which will feed misters mounted through the lid. ill throw clones into three inch grow baskets in expanded ceramic pellets if i can get em. 400w hps in a cool tube. ill be running the bubblers 24/7 and the misters will either be on 5 mins on 25 off or 24/7 on, haven't definitevly decided yet.

I have some bag seed mothers ive sexed under 12/12 for a week, and im going to clone them into my system, although for the next time ill build a seperate cloner/vegger. im going to have them under 12/12 from the start. Until the roots show ill be using tap water possibly with a little h202, and then after i see some growth ill start on 10-25% nutes and move up from there.

I plan on using Super Natural hydro nutrients, the micro/grow/bloom liquid line. Ill start at 400-500 ppm and move up by 200 a week peeking in week 3 of flowering, always aiming for 5.8 ph. Ill probably replace nutes once a week with one day of regular water and h202 in between the replacement. I also plan on topping up reservoire with water every morning, but ill probably only correct the ppm when i replace it all once a week. I may also use bud blaster in the flowering cycle.

Ill get pictures up with my journal as soon as i have the whole setup done. but i'd love some input on possible nutrient shedules and additives, or what people think of the whole setup. Nutrients are obviously the hardest thing to crack for us first timers, and although ive done my research id always value feedback :)

Awesome idea except in dwc if u position ur water level an inch or 4 u are not going to have the need to mist ur top roots at all, the bubbles in the bucket or tub in ur case will froth up, pop and splash plenty of water and nutrients that will be sufficient enuff for ur plants. The first mistake that i believe that happens in dwc is people drown there plants.Because of many variables, Only the top third part of ur root system depends more on oxygen than water cuz it uses that oxygen to break down and deliver the food and water to the plant.Think about the plant in nature id say, most of the time these roots are bulging thru the soil in direct light and air.

I will follow ur progress, good luck in growing!

yeah when i say it's dwc i just mean itll end up that way in the end. The res is 16 inches high, so the roots will have to grow down to the water at the bottom, the main nutrient/water delivery will be through misters for at least 8-10 inches of root development.. but thats for the flowering phase. for the clones to root ill fill it to one inch under and ill mount the bubblers just under the water surface and maybe turn on the sprayers a few times a day if the pre-soaked ceramic looks dry, but it should be fine i would think. thanks for the response! updates and grow journal soon.

This is why adding a water pump and feeding each net cup with the oxygen filled water from the air pumps and air stones in the tank. Now you dont have to worry as the water pump with a feed line going to each net cup in your system is "constantly" delivering water to the root zone with both water containing the nutrients and the oxygen 24/7.

Haveing the water pump also allows using MUCH less water in the system also which means easier maint. and overall easier to deal with in general (less water, less weight).

Much better system and you can add the pump and irrigation manifold for the pump whcih is everything you need for about 30 to 26 dollars. Worth the investment if you ask me.

yeah exactly. i only called it dwc cause im realistic about how aeroponic im actually growing. this wont be a 40-50 micron mist, although that may be a mostly manufaturer invented number. most people seem to ignore the fact that their roots grow into the res in most of the aero designs ive seen on the net, at least in terms of their initial design/planning.
My plan basically combines the redundancy of three different feeding systems (bubbler, aero misters, and eventually when the roots grow, dwc). If one of the three pumps dies, i should have a little more leeway in saving my babies.

I was reading about how the long tap roots that will reach the res water level are initially mostly roots that can only absorb water, whereas the top third of the root system absorbs most of the nutrients.

less water= less nutes too.

Sounds like ur going to have an awesome grow man. Anytime roots are going to be constantly submerged in water u must add a stone or 4 lol.Guess in my tubs i also try to mimic all 3 styles, by manipulating the ppm and my water levels and using my bubbles as aero in a way.No matter how u cut it, the same ppm in a gallon of water or 5 gallons of water are going to achieve the the exact same goal.Depending on growth cycles i let my water levels lower keeping my ppms consistent but actually force my plants to eat the nuts. It adds more maintenance and water changes but achieves the same goals i guess we are all setting out to achieve.

Anyone used the Super Natural line? I've had Trouble finding details on additives/feeding schedules for this specific nute in terms of grower feedback.
